19th International exhibition SAFARI EXPO
Safari Expo, one of the most atmospheric autumn exhibitions with inimitable environment, was held for the nineteenth time already November 12 through 15, 2015 in the Crocus Expo IEC first pavilion. The exposition incorporated 200 companies from 10 regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
The show officially supported by the Ministry for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Alliance of Public Associations of Hunting and Fishing (RosOkhotRybolovSoyuz).
Expanded floor space was organized into thematic sectors. It improved visitors navigation around the halls, made suppliers stands easier to find and provided our large show with more efficiency. The exposition featured the following sectors: hunting and fishing tackles and gear; hunting and fishing tours; and equipment and vehicles for active outing.
The Gala Opening Ceremony of the project took place November 12 at 12:00 p.m. The ceremony was presented by Serguei Egorychev, Director of the Crocus Expo IEC Department of Special Exhibition Projects. Participants of the ceremony:
- Nikolai Valuev, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation;
- Viacheslav Kirikulov, First Deputy President of RosOkhotRybolovSoyuz Association;
- Serguei Aprelov, producer, presenter of the program My Fishing at Russia 2 TV channel;
- Leonid Sonin, Chairman of Safari Moscow Hunting Club.
The exposition presented a full range of proposals from national and foreign producers of goods and services in the field of hunting, gaming and fishing equipment, special equipment, technical means and vehicles used in hunting, gaming and fishing, outdoor activities and tourism, thermo clothing, clothing from natural fur and wool, exclusive t-shirts and camouflage, convenient backpacks and bags, specialized optics, products from skin; fishing nets, coils, sinkers, floats; rods, spinnings, float tackles; literature on fishing and hunting; irreplaceable accessories; all types of bait; tents and mobile furniture for camping; taxidermy; products from bronze, silver, wood and ceramics; knives of all calibers and other cold weapon; environmentally friendly cosmetics and healthy products from different countries of the world; rubber and aluminum boats, sailing vessels and floating pontoons; powerful all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles and a lot of other things.
The organizers of the exhibition aimed to bring together on the same platform all key national and foreign players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and fans, to present the company and products in the Russian market, personally meet a wide audience of specialists, study market conditions, establish strong business relationship and just purchase various novelties for the season.
Convenient equipment and outfit adapted for difficult weather conditions is necessary while preparing for active outings! An impressive choice of clothes for various weather conditions including layered clothing was presented at the exposition. URSUS stand displayed the variety in the segment.
One of the major problems for fans of all-terrain tours is impassable roads. Thus all-terrain motor vehicles were of special interest at the show. Torex company presented amphibian snowmobile Patrol designed according to aviation technologies. Anton Impuls displayed a unique Russian all-terrain vehicle Viking 2992 – a unique breed of new vehicle able to traverse land, water and the difficult littoral zone to reach flood areas to rescue victims. Fitted with giant ultra-low ground pressure 50" tyres and internal ballast for floatation, it is able to smoothly transition, fully loaded, between and water while maintaining its position using its integral water-jet power to provide rescue teams with a stable platform from which to launch search and rescue operations in water currents.
Motor boats were also presented within the frames of the exposition: small size vessels, catamarans, kayaks, inflatable boats from Mnev & Co, Mercury – Scientific Research Institute TM, SPEV, Fishleader, Quintrex Rus, Velhod Club and many others.
Owners and breeders of Polish Lowland Sheepdogs for the first time participated in the Safari Expo. Each guest of the exhibition had an opportunity to "communicate" with dogs, ask cynologists various questions about the breed and peculiarities of its keeping, and also to agree about purchase of puppies from a kennel.
Experts shared valuable advices related to the choice of decoy, hunting places, disguise and masking, features of hunting of a hazel grouse, a black grouse, a wood-grouse, an elk, a wolf and other animals and birds, and also explained peculiarities of taxidermy.
As its popularity and success rate had grown over the last years Safari Expo had developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events served to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allowed all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential. The calendar of events featured conferences and seminars covering issues related to reproduction and rational use of hunting and fishing resources of our country, presentation of novelties from leading Russian producers of equipment and gears that allow representatives of regions to show advantages of the native land in the best way.
Fans of sports shooting had an opportunity to try their accuracy at Laser Hunt shooting laser training simulators. Trophy Life, the leader of Moscow region jeep tours, presented all-terrain vehicles and provided an opportunity to purchase a jeep tour. Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management from Zimbabwe offered gaming tours.
Gourmets appreciated delicious products cooked from game (elk, deer, boar, ostrich, hare and other animals) and even discovered new recipes of "wild" cuisine. Nature lovers had an opportunity to get natural products – fish, honey, pastries, berries, Crimean herbs and environmentally friendly cosmetics, and also to choose unusual gifts.
The show provided the exhibitors with an opportunity to demonstrate products and services, distribute sales and promotional materials, sell products or services, target prospective customers, introduce new products and services and build brand recognition with consumers.
Safari Expo in Crocus Expo IEC is a complex business event for professionals which provides the perfect opportunity to establish business contacts and a fine way to enjoy leisure with a lot of interesting events and possibility of acquisition of various novelties of hunting and fishing season!
