The International exhibition Safari Expo, one of the most important events which is very popular among hunters and fishermen, opened its doors in spring 2015 for the 18th time already! The project anticipates the beginning of fishing and hunting seasons in Russia and thus producers and suppliers present all necessary equipment for comfortable pastime.
Representatives of 8 regions of the Russian Federation and also guests from 5 ex-CIS countries and abroad participated in the project: Azerbaijan, Argentina, South Africa, Belarus and Tanzania. The overall exhibit space comprised 6000 sq m.
More than 200 leading companies not only presented to visitors actual novelties in the sphere of sports leisure and entertainments but also provided an opportunity to spend interesting time within the frames of various programs. The exposition presented a full range of proposals from national and foreign producers of goods and services in the field of hunting, gaming and fishing equipment, special equipment, technical means and vehicles used in hunting, gaming and fishing, outdoor activities and tourism, thermoclothing, clothing from natural fur and wool, exclusive t-shirts and camouflage, convenient backpacks and bags, specialized optics, products from skin; fishing nets, coils, sinkers, floats; rods, spinnings, float tackles; literature on fishing and hunting; irreplaceable accessories; all types of bait; tents and mobile furniture for camping; taxidermy; products from bronze, silver, wood and ceramics; knives of all calibers and other cold weapon; environmentally friendly cosmetics and healthy products from different countries of the world; rubber and aluminum boats, sailing vessels and floating pontoons; powerful all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles and a lot of other things.
The organizers of the exhibition aimed to bring together on the same platform all key national and foreign players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and fans, to present the company and products in the Russian market, personally meet a wide audience of specialists, study market conditions, establish strong business relationship and just purchase various novelties for the season.
Expanded floor space was organized into thematic sectors: Hunting and fishing outfit, Hunting and fishing tours, Technical means for active outing. It improved visitors’ navigation around the halls, made suppliers’ stands easier to find and provided our large show with more efficiency.
Free master classes in the Firm Hand Club throwing gallery, training courses in archery at the EcoSafari stand, competitions in accuracy on multimedia Lazer Hunt exercise machines and an opportunity to test baits from the main producers in the pool of Fishing without a Trip to Nature zone were held daily!
The Russian Birds Conservation Union presented a unique photo gallery which winners were defined following the results of free voting among visitors. The winners were granted prizes on the last day of the exhibition.
Representatives of hunting and fishing entities and shooting preserves were invited to attend the round table Open-air Housing of Animals, Food. Issues related to breeding, keeping and food of animals in captivity were discussed during the round table talks. Besides Diana Hunting Club hold a presentation about ways of health and condition improvement of wild animals at nature reserves.
A master class from the best animalists was for the first time held at the show. Animalists taught children to draw favourite animals. Adult guests of the exhibition had an opportunity to master skills of trophies production.
Hunting and Gun Dogs Parade was held for dog lovers. Moreover after the parade all willing had an opportunity to consult leading cynologists.
Everyone was invited to taste delicatessen made from wild animals meat from Delikates trade mark.
The Official opening ceremony of the trade fair took place March 10 at 01:00 p.m. Participants of the ceremony:
- Tatyana Aramileva, President of Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz Association;
- Elena Gorbunova, President of Women’s Hunting Club;
- Serguei Aprelov, producer, presenter of the program My Fishing at Russia 2 TV channel.
The exhibition was officially supported by the Ministry for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Alliance of Public Associations of Hunting and Fishing (RosOkhotRybolovSoyuz).
Spring edition of Safari Expo exhibition became a significant event for the branch and met expectations of participants and guests having outlined future vectors of development. The event was of great success both at general public and at representatives of leading mass media.
