Vorobiev A., Moscow suburb Governor, participated in the ceremony of new AO Mostransavto buses
Today June 18 Vorobiev A., Moscow suburb Governor, inspected the readiness of new passenger buses to be transferred to AO Mostransavto subsidiary on the territory of Crocus Expo. The buses were specially manufactured in accordance with the order of the regional government at the Likinsk plant as informed the Press services of the governor of the Moscow region.
To improve the quality of transport services for residents in the Moscow region, the rolling stock is regularly updated.
The Governor spoke with drivers, some of whom were involved in emergency medical stations during the pandemic. Now they are gradually returning to work on passenger buses.
More than 660 new buses were transferred to the branches of Mostransavto JSC. Routes of 17 divisions of the enterprise will be served by vehicles in two complete sets: suburban modification LiAZ-529265-03 and training buses with a cab for driver training.
The purchase of the rolling stock was carried out under a state contract concluded between the Ministry of transport and road infrastructure of the Moscow region and Sberbank Leasing AO. In the autumn of the last year, the Governor gave a symbolic start to the production of buses during a live broadcast on the TV channel"360".
As part of the unified concept of public transport design developed by the government of the Moscow region, the logo "Transport of the Moscow region" is applied on the front and left sides of the new buses.
