Moscow Hobby Expo. April 2016
The 8th International Moscow Hobby Expo exhibition, the only exhibition in Russia incorporating all directions of modelism, was held in April in Crocus Expo IEC. The event became a point of attraction for multiple collectors, designers, racing drivers, pilots, seamen, magicians, soldiers and princesses! Moscow Hobby Expo was traditionally held with the official support of the Federation of Aircraft Modeling Sport of Russia (FAMS), the Federation of Ship Modeling Sport of Russia (FSS), the Federation of Tank Modeling Sport (FTMS) and the Federation of Auto Modeling Sport of Russia (FAMS).
More than 75 participating companies from 12 countries of the world (Ukraine, Belarus, the Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Germany, Russia, Israel, the USA, Italy and the Czech Republic) and 15 regions of the Russian Federation (Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and others) presented the most demanded products of the modern hobby industry, including novelties, on more than 8 400 sq m of exhibit space.
The show became an inspiring experience for the whole family! There were lots of fabulous opportunities to learn from experts at the fair. Whether your interest in any kind of hobby there were hands-on and seminar-style learning sessions running all day, every day!
The organizers decided to arrange the expanded floor space into sectors according to market segments and it was positively accepted by the exhibitors. Thematic location of companies showed that such segmentation assisted visitors to easier orientate themselves at the exhibition and the exhibitors get a better effect of their participation – it improved visitors navigation around the hall, made suppliers stands easy to find and provided the large show with more efficiency.
As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Hobby Expo has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events served to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allowed all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.
