For the fifth time the International specialized exhibition-forum Road opens doors for specialists October 13 through 15, 2014.

National and foreign companies will present their products and services in the first pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC: new materials and technologies for construction and operation of roads, management of transport streams and provision of traffic safety. Among exhibitors are more than 240 companies from 28 regions of Russia and 14 foreign countries (Austria, Belarus, Germany, Italy, China, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland).

The Gala Opening Ceremony of the project will take place October 13 at 04:00 p.m. in hall 4. Representatives of the Ministry for Transport of the Russian Federation and the State Company Russian Highways (Avtodor), rendering support to Road 2014 exhibition, will participate in the ceremony.

The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and worldwide players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among scientists and engineers in order to accelerate the development and research in this field as well as implementing new technologies, the newest equipment, materials and components in the road industry. Road 2014 will comprise an exhibition of innovation projects and technologies presented by the leading companies in this sector, a special platform for the equipment demonstration, and a business program for discussion of such issues as improvement of road safety and traffic comfort, the companies’ technologies and solutions aimed at efficient use of resources.

Road exhibition has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allows all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Plenary session following the results of the presidium meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation About Improvement of the Highways Network for Complex Development of Territories of the Russian Federation will be held on the first day of exhibition in Conference hall 1. Joint seminars organized by Avtodor state company and European Road Federation (ERF) will be devoted to the following topics: Investments into Road Infrastructure and Traffic Safety.

Round table talks will allow discussing issues related to application of composite materials and products from them in road economy, effective mechanisms of road structure development and financial and legal aspects of implementation of projects on the basis of state-private partnership.
