14th MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL OPTICAL FAIR (MIOF)

The 14th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF) was held February 18 through 21, 2014 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. Before 2014 the project had been held under Ophthalmologic Optics name but aiming at its further development and exit to international level, and also due to changes of the market conditions and requests from the consumers the organizers made up the decision on rebranding of the project.

The post show report revealed that this step had been well justified, having shown positive results for perspective development of MIOF on the international scene.

The exhibition incorporated under the same roof the best companies from all regions of Russia, the CIS countries and from abroad. Exhibitors from Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Kaluga and Yaroslavl areas), England, Turkey, Latvia and Ukraine participated in the fair this year. The total number of participants made 160 companies which were accommodated on 12 700 sq m of exhibit space.

MIOF comprised an exhibition of innovative projects and technologies presented by the leading companies in this sector, a special platform for equipment demonstration, and a conference for discussion of such issues as economic efficiency of the companies during the crisis, the companies’ technologies and solutions aimed at efficient use of resources. Participation in the trade fair became a unique opportunity to present a company and products to a distinctly selected targeted audience of industry specialists. They were well prepared to discuss business in the Russian market and to close a deal on-site.

February MIOF provided the perfect platform from which to demonstrate products and services, Distribute sales and promotional materials, sell your products or services, target prospective customers, introduce new products and services and build brand recognition with consumers.

A variety of professional forums, contests and workshops became another centre of attraction for key audience and an interesting source of publications in specialized and business press.
