The latest lingerie collections will be displayed at Lingerie-Expo Winter 2014 exhibition

Lingerie-Expo, the only exhibition in Russia dedicated to underwear, beach fashion and hosiery, will take place in Moscow for the 3rd time in Pavilion 1 of the Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre in Moscow on 4-7 February 2014. The exhibition is organised by MVK, part of ITE Group – the leader of the Russian exhibition market.

Lingerie-Expo takes place twice a year and provides a platform to unite exhibitors from various regions of Russia and abroad. The first exhibition was launched in February 2013 and immediately attracted a lot of interest from lingerie manufacturers and distributors.

According to Mikhail Uvarov, editor-in-chief of the Russian trade magazine Lingerie & Tights, 'Lingerie-Expo is the main event for the professional lingerie industry, missing which means giving the opportunity for your competitors to achieve a visible advantage in the intense competition for every buyer. The exhibition offers high quality exhibitors, the opportunity for the free interaction between visitors and company managers and a rich business programme.'

Nearly 1800 industry specialists reviewed the display at the Lingerie-Expo 2013 exhibition in the autumn, with 45% of them being the Chief Executives of their companies. Lingerie-Expo played host to visitors from 67 regions of Russia, as well as specialists from 18 countries, such as Latvia, Italy, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Germany.  More than 50% of the visitors have final purchasing decision making authority.

The Lingerie-Expo Winter 2014 exhibition is opening a new season of fashion industry exhibitions in Russia. Producers and suppliers of lingerie are given a unique opportunity to demonstrate new collections and arrange product orders for the coming season.

74 companies from 8 countries will exhibit in 2014, representing more than 230 brands: Dimanche Lingerie, MaidenForm, Empreinte, Naturana, LingaDore, Laete, Extrime Intimo, Lisca, Mia-Mia, Vogue, Trasparenze, Valeria Lingerie, Grand, Relax Mode, Sassa, V.I.P.A, Serge, Mark Formelle, Verally and many others.

The exhibitors will showcase their products in the following sections:

The special 'Federal Wholesale Companies'section will be organised as part of the Lingerie-Expo exhibition, representing the largest wholesale warehouses of lingerie and hosiery from different Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok.

The 'INTERNET MARKETING for Lingerie Companies' consulting centre will be available on all of the days of the exhibition. Everyone will have access to free professional consultations on the promotion of their corporate website or online store.

As always, a series of commercial presentations of lingerie will take place at Lingerie-Expo so that visitors can review the latest fashions of the autumn and summer season. The following famous brands will display their new collections: Infinity Lingerie, Mia-Mia, MaidenForm, Empreinte, Relax Mode, Playboy, Picar, V.I.P.A, Extreme Intimo, Sassa, Very Important Princess, Cotton for body, LingaDore and MRONS. A catwalk show showcasing the most promising collections of corsetry from Dimachne Lingerie, Honey Day and Rosa Selvatica will be taking place every day at the DIMANCHE S.R.L. stand A417.

Business Programme

Lingerie-Expo’s business programme with its focus on professionals is especially interesting for the visitors and exhibitors. This year the programme has grown and includes several specialised events:

  • Master classes: 'A profitable lingerie store – the 5 components of success', 'How to create effective advertising in Russia', 'PRACTICUM: Indicators of effectiveness and successful business activity in underwear and swimwear stores', 'Drivers of strategy - from sales to brand identity';
