The VI International medical forum and exhibition Health Industry was held April 22 through 25 in Crocus Expo IEC.

The exhibition’s edition in 2013 is held under the motto Innovative Technologies into Practice. It is a project devoted to demonstration of achievements and prospects of development of practical health care, pharmaceutics, medical biotechnology, medical instrumentation, to acquaintance with innovative methods of treatment, discussion of measures on their introduction into medioprophilactic institutions activity, to holding of events aiming to increase professional level of general practitioners.

The VI International medical forum and exhibition Health Industry is targeted to promote realization of important aspects of the state policy in the health care sphere, to implementation of the federal law On Basis of Healthcare of Citizens in the Russian Federation and the federal target program Pharma-2020, and also to promote innovative development of practical health care system.

Gala Opening ceremony of the International medical forum and exhibition Health Industry 2013 took place April 22 at 12:00 p.m. in the second pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC. Participants of the ceremony:

• Serguei Goncharov, Director of the Main Medical Military Administration of the Ministry for Defense of the Russian Federation;
• Evgeny Tkachenko, Main Gastroenterologist of the Healthcare Committee of St. Petersburg, the head of the department of propaedeutics of internal diseases of SZSGMU named after I.I. Mechnikov, doctor of medical sciences, professor;
• Nikolay Dzeranov, Deputy Director of scientific research institute of urology, Director of university science and technology park of the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov, doctor of medical sciences, professor;
• Victor Buskin, Vice-president of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Technology;
• Oleg Rychkov, Director of the forum and exhibition Health Industry.

A symposium Personalized Medicine: Prospects of Introduction into Clinical Practice was held on the second day of the project’s calendar of events. Leading specialists and representatives of state bodies participated in the event. The specialists attended various lectures and discussed urgent issues related to personalized medicine.

A versatile scientific and educational program The Doctor of Russia of the XXI century, featuring conferences, symposiums, lectures, round tables and presentations, was held during all days of Health Industry 2013. Heads and representatives of regional bodies of health care, scientific centers, enterprises of medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry, representatives of medical and technical universities, professors and academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Medical Science, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, representatives of business structures, public organizations, ministries and departments participated in the calendar of events.

Participants of the forum had also an opportunity for professional networking at the master class on first aid to victims in emergency situations which was held by Alexander Popov, Chief physician of the Center of Medical Evacuation and Emergency Medical Care, at the stand Zaschita VTsMK.

Forum and exhibition Health Industry. Innovative Technologies into Practice was visited by scientists and doctors from Russia, the CIS countries, Western Europe and other countries.

The Forum Health Industry. Innovative Technologies into Practice was held with official support of the department of the Ministry for Healthcare of Moscow, the Ministry for Healthcare of the Moscow region, the Main Medical Military Administration of the Ministry for Defense of the Russian Federation, the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov and the Academy of Medical Sciences and Technology.

The post review of scientific and practical events allow to draw a conclusion that the forum and exhibition Health Industry in Crocus Expo IEC significantly contributed to the strengthening of the sphere of national medicine and health care.
