Moscow Hobby Expo is a project of own exhibition program of the fairgrounds which is held with official support of leading branch associations, and also numerous technical and creative clubs for children and adults who are loyal exhibitors of the project.

This ambitious project won long ago a wide circle of fans which look forward every year to the most important and the largest event in the field of scale and radio-controlled modeling in Russia.

Fascinating leisure was and still remains one of the most popular pastimes among those who were born before 1991 and much later. Just remember, with what pleasure fathers choose the first toy cars or helicopters for their sons?! With what thrill of joy they hand over steering wheels of new boats to their kids?!

A hobby can turn back the clock, make even the most serious adult to feel himself again a carefree mischievous child. The organizers and participants of the Moscow Hobby Expo exposition will help you to plunge into the world of surprising gadgets and rich imagination. The exposition will feature international cars and aviamodelling competitions right on site in the exhibition hall, demonstration of ship models in a specially equipped pool, aircraft tests (planes, helicopters, slowflyers) on a pad, tank iBattle, meetings with authoritative collectors, master classes, seminars and special shows in various thematic sections of modelism, presentations of exhibitors, amazing tournaments and draws with valuable prizes.

Moreover Moscow Hobby Expo has developed to incorporate presentation of exclusive radio-controlled models of cross-country vehicles and will demonstrate “driving” skills on 50 square meters of absolutely off road terrain (including swamps, stones, ruts, tunnels, hills and deep pools).

Almost all models of the club are handmade and hand assembled, the result of long-term effortful and masterful work. They represent exact copies of "big brothers", and the majority of them exist only in the single copy!

The visitors of the exhibition will have an opportunity to appreciate great possibilities of small radio-controlled cars – Mini-Z, having tried to “drive” these swift mini-race cars on a specially designed track.

Indoor Grand Prix of Russia in classes of radio-controlled electric SUVs (the largest race in the CIS countries!) will be held within the frames of Moscow Hobby Expo 2013. More than 150 participants, including the best sportsmen from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine will take part in the competition.

The saturated business program of the Federation of Aircraft Modeling Sport of Russia will allow all willing to learn the latest news of avia modeling sports, to take great pride in achievements of the national aviation, to talk with masters and veterans of legendary aviamodelling clubs and just spend spare time with pleasure!
