The 11th International specialized exhibition Ophthalmologic Optics, one of the most significant events for ophthalmologic segment of the market, was held February 19-22, 2013 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The best specialists from 160 companies have gathered on the area of 12 500 sq m for demonstration of their products and services and discussion of pressing issues related to corrective eyewear and sun glasses, ophthalmologic and optometric equipment, the newest technological developments of the branch, eyewear frames, spectacle and contact lenses and other products.

The exposition incorporated manufacturers from numerous 15 regions of Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Republic of Bashkortostan, Krasnodar Krai, Belgorod, Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl regions) and foreign countries (England, Germany, China, Republic of Belarus, France and Ukraine).

The February edition attracted experts by the best samples of foreign and Russian optical production and long-awaited premiers.

Thus MOK company presented the latest Neva coating. The new coating Neva® Max UV benefits from the lastest UV optimized backside stack technology to offer the consumers with a complete protection during the year. The coating protects you 25 times more than without any lens. All the others characteristics of Neva® Max UV are still respected: transparency, water repellence, scratch resistance, smudge resistance and anti-static. The company also presented new generation of photochromatic lenses TRANSICIONS Signature VII. 
The Euro Optics company demonstrated a collection of vonBogen (Germany) medical frames interesting by innovation, stable German quality and creative solutions. The frames made of the most ancient material for frames production, natural wood, became novelties in the ETE collection.

The business and educational program of the February exhibition was very saturated and topical. It aimed at consideration of recent trends in management, distribution and innovative development of the optical industry: protection of eyes against ultraviolet, rehabilitation of visually impaired patients, sight research, automation of salons of optics, increase in sales level, creation of a corporate style, image and many other things.

The presentation of Orgreen Danish brand took place within the frames of the business program. World-leading company in eyewear design, Orgreen is famous for their inventive approach to design and innovative colour combinations, utilizing over 400 different hues. Designed and developed in Denmark, each frame is handmade in Japan, known and respected for its high standards and irrefutable quality.

Ophthalmologic Optics trade fair provided yet another platform for industry specialists to access the latest information on global and market trends in the sector.
