Results of the 20th International exhibition of technologies and equipment for municipal and industrial water treatment, water supply, sewage, wastewater treatment, engineering systems and pumping equipment EcwaTech
The International exhibition of technologies and equipment for municipal and industrial water treatment, water supply, sewage, wastewater treatment, engineering systems and pumping equipment EcwaTech was held September 8 through 10 at Crocus Expo.
The exhibition brought together more than 550 suppliers and manufacturers. The exposition occupied over 21,000 square meters and the professional audience of the exhibition covered 76 regions of Russia and 17 countries. The exhibition was attended by more than 12,700 unique specialists, among the visitors - representatives of 230 water utilities and 450 industrial enterprises. This scale makes EcwaTech not just a demonstration site, but also a working tool for the modernization of water infrastructure and industrial systems of water treatment, water supply and sanitation.
One of the most notable trends of the exhibition was the transition from import substitution to its own engineering solutions. 65% of the exhibition participants are Russian companies. The stands are increasingly showing not individual analogues of foreign equipment, but their own series of equipment, patented technologies, software products and complex systems designed for the entire life cycle of the object - from design and selection of equipment to automation, service and modernization.
The geography of the exhibition participants was presented quite widely: Russian companies offered their developments from more than 70 cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Samara and other regions. International participation was over 200 companies from Belarus, China, Turkey, India and other countries.
One of the new formats for 2026 became the ECWATECH Connect program, a series of direct business negotiations between suppliers and potential customers. In two days, more than 350 individual B2B meetings took place, during which participants discussed procurement, partnership and implementation of specific projects.
The exposition was supplemented by a large-scale business program. More than 600 specialists and 120 industry experts took part in it. In three days, 13 events and over 90 hours of professional discussions were held on the modernization of treatment facilities, digitalization and automation, energy efficiency, environmental control and the use of artificial intelligence.
EcwaTech forum was held within the frames of the exhibition. Industry experts presented new knowledge in the field of water technology and answers to important questions of the industry. Exhibitors had an opportunity to participate in the conference program of the exhibition, upgrade their skills and learn from new industry practices, experiences and opinions within the frames of the Forum EcwaTech and business program.
EWA (EcwaTech WasteTech Awards) Awarding ceremony was held within the frames of the business program.
EcwaTech established itself as the platform where advanced ideas and innovations took their first steps into practice. It brought together technologies and creative solutions that transform industries, shape infrastructure, and improve the quality of life for millions of people. The exhibition reflected not only the current state of the water sector but also the direction of its future development. EcwaTech is where the most relevant technologies are presented, partnerships are formed, and the foundations for long-term progress are laid.
