The International specialized pet goods exhibition ParkZoo 2026 began its work
The International specialized pet goods exhibition ParkZoo 2026 has been opened today September 23 at Crocus Expo.
280 companies will present pet products ranging from functional pet food and veterinary drugs to grooming supplies and tech-enabled accessories. Among the participants are over 190 Russian and 83 Chinese companies, as well as manufacturers from Belarus, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Japan. The organizers anticipate over 15,000 visitors, including retail chain representatives, distributors, veterinarians, breeders, and groomers.
Domestic companies are producing an increasing share of pet food, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and feed ingredients. The industry is currently moving into its second phase of import substitution, mastering the production of highly specialized products with proven efficacy, driven by proprietary research and development. Exhibitors will showcase newly launched Russian pet diets and treats, medications, and feed additives tailored to pets with diverse nutritional and medical needs.
This year's New Products Showcase will feature over 200 items that are brand new to the Russian market. Highlights include food and treats for cats and dogs, supplies for other pet species, and even a specialized menu for recovering herbivores. Visitors will discover recently developed grooming products, aquarium and terrarium equipment, harnesses and leashes, and trendy, functional accessories. Technological innovations will include a fully automated, smartphone-controlled litter box. The New Products Showcase will also display veterinary medicines, dietary supplements, and preventive care products for maintaining pets' health.
September 23 will mark the National Association of the Zoo Industry Day. The agenda features a conference on product labeling and batch accounting with representatives from the CRAT and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, alongside discussions on the growing pet-friendly culture in Russia as a growth driver for the pet business. The Veterinary Pharmaceutical Congress will run on September 23 and 24, bringing together specialists working with animal medicines. On September 24, the DOG-PROFI conference will be held for dog and cat breeders. The 15th GroomingFest will run throughout all three days of the exhibition.
