Final report of the 30th International exhibition for the packaging industry RosUpack and the 11th International exhibition of equipment, technologies and supplies for print and advertising Printech
The 30th International exhibition for the packaging industry RosUpack and the 11th International exhibition of equipment, technologies and supplies for print and advertising Printech were held June 16 through 19 at Crocus Expo.
Co-location with RosUpack expanded Printech's commercial reach. Packaging buyers were increasingly interested in print quality, shorter production cycles, versioning, labelling, finishing and materials performance. That overlap created a stronger demand for a printing and packaging exhibition that connected print technology with packaging production needs.
Four days, two pavilions, six exhibition halls, hundreds of pieces of working equipment and thousands of professional dialogues - all this became convincing evidence that the Russian packaging and printing market is not just adapting to challenges, but confidently setting new standards.
For three decades, RosUpack has gone from an industry exhibition to a full-fledged ecosystem, uniting manufacturers, suppliers, designers, technologists and buyers from all sectors of the economy. In the anniversary year, the exhibition confirmed its status as the main platform for demonstrating the full cycle of packaging production - from raw materials and equipment to finished products, automated solutions and environmental developments. The exhibitions set the tone for the new season, becoming the center of attraction for 28,888 packaging manufacturers, equipment suppliers, representatives of FMCG, retail, logistics, printing and processing industries from 46 countries of the world and 82 regions of the Russian Federation. A total of 36,617 attendance was recorded.
This year, 952 companies from 12 countries and 51 regions of Russia presented their products and solutions at RosUpack and Printech. Among the participants are industry mastodons and new players from Russia, China, Turkey, India, the Republic of Belarus, Brazil, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and other states. For the first time, companies from Mexico and Vietnam were presented, which indicates the growing interest of international business in the Russian market and its technological needs.
The main trend of the exhibition was automation. Robotics and production software are becoming central to manufacturing efficiency, with a dedicated showcase of equipment and digital solutions. In almost all sections of the exposition, robotic packaging lines, automatic palletizers, intelligent quality control systems and digital production management services were demonstrated.
Sustainable packaging remained a priority. Manufacturers and suppliers of eco-friendly packaging presented new materials and solutions in response to growing demand. Manufacturers presented recyclable films, new generation paper packaging, transport containers made of recycled materials and solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of enterprises.
Digital printing was no less actively developed. Visitors could see equipment to personalize packaging, high-speed label printing and produce small runs without losing quality. The Printech exhibition offered the professional community everything you need for printing production - from materials and accessories to high-tech machines and components.
Various sessions on the most burning topics of the industry were held in two conference halls. The Forum Hall hosted industry-wide sessions with forecasts and trends in the development of the packaging market, sustainable packaging and EPR, sessions on food safety, branding and human resources. For the first time, a session was devoted to gift and New Year's packaging! Also on the third day, the Forum Hall hosted the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the RosUpack exhibition and the traditional PART Award Ceremony.
The Dialogue Arena hosted the business program of the Printech exhibition. The program included sessions on key trends in the printing industry, digitalization and artificial intelligence, printing packaging, a master class on productivity standards at a printing enterprise, as well as the Printing School, where industry specialists gave lectures and conducted master classes on applied issues. The new format was a discussion battle, where two parties discussed label production in a verbal duel!
The next editions of RosUpack and Printech will be held June 15 through 18 , 2027.
