Post show report of the 34th International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, Building Automation ELEKTRO
The 34th International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, Building Automation ELEKTRO was held June 8 through 10 at Crocus Expo.
ELEKTRO – a key international networking platform integrating specialists of electrical engineering, electric power sector, construction, lighting and building automation.
350 companies from 6 countries: India, Kazakhstan, China, Republic of Belarus, Russia and Turkey presented their new products and key developments within the exposition comprising more than 14,500 square meters. The Russian exposition was formed from 178 leading enterprises demonstrating advanced developments in the framework of import substitution including such well-known and new ones as HD Electric Rus, AkEl PTK, СNC Electric, EKA Center, KIT-Energo, Korenevsky Plant of Low-Voltage Equipment, Cascade SIC, Kaskad-Grup SPA, Nucon Energy, Meandr, MEG Electro, Pandora LED, Preora, Promsytex, ProtectPro, Shtyl, Uralelectromed, Finder, Elektroavtomat.

A central event of the program was the 3rd Business Forum on Electrical Engineering. New Energy of Development. Its participants discussed the topics of: electrical engineering in a storm: where to find growth points, keep government contracts, and exports in the context of localization; special zones – special money: how to save 30% of the budget on taxes and not go bankrupt because of localization. Green Corridor 2026; high voltage, where to get money for projects at an affordable rate; HR issues: where to find engineers, technicians and workers for new electrical engineering projects: retraining and mentoring 2.0; working supply chains and overcoming logistical difficulties in the sanctions environment in 2026; mandatory labeling of DATA MATRIX-2026 for electrical engineering: how can manufacturers avoid being knocked off the market?
The Expert Day of Electrical Equipment for Distribution Networks and Power Supply of Facilities featured three blocks: Block 1: Trends and problems in the design of power grids using digital twins, BIM models, intelligent control systems and surge protection; Block 2: Made in Russia. The localization level of electrical equipment. Bid for technological leadership; Block 3: Biodynamic lighting, prospects of abandoning cloud solutions, and the use of Russian-made controllers
The participants noted a high level of organization, a rich business program and a target audience, which included representatives of industry, engineering companies and specialized government agencies.
The 35th Anniversary International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, Building Automation ELEKTRO-2027 will be held June 7 through 9, 2027.
