Results of the International helicopter and UAS industry exhibition HeliRussia
The International helicopter and UAS industry exhibition HeliRussia was held June 4 and 5 at Crocus Expo. For two days of work, the exhibition was attended by more than 8,500 industry professionals, including government officials, business leaders, developers and operators, as well as foreign delegations from more than 25 countries.
It is the only event in Russia presenting global developments in the full range of products and services in the helicopter industry - from design and production to operation, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and airmobility.
The exposition featured 64 companies from Russia and China: manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, components, control systems, maintenance equipment and digital solutions. The main focus was made on import substitution and national developments.
The driver of HeliRussia was its business program, which included: plenary session, conferences, round tables, discussions and master classes. Experts exchanged their experience, demonstrated new developments, discussed problematic issues in connection with the current global situation and determined ways to solve them. This year’s business program featured both traditional and new events addressing flight safety and countering threats, the practical integration of manned and unmanned aviation into a single airspace, human resources, the new economy of operation and service, as well as legislative aspects, post-sales service of aviation equipment, requirements for landing sites, the export potential of domestic equipment and components, import substitution, and other relevant topics.
The HeliRussia business program has made a qualitative step forward. More than 20 events of various formats were combined into a single agenda dedicated to the formation of a new model of a low-altitude economy.
Based on the results of the business program activities, packages of proposals were formed to improve the mechanisms of subsidies and regulatory regulation in various segments of the use of helicopters and UAS for further study within the framework of the activities of the Helicopter Industry Association and subsequent transfer to the relevant ministries.
HeliRussia 2026 confirmed the status of the largest specialized exhibition of the helicopter industry and UAS, demonstrating a high level of technological development of domestic manufacturers, growing export potential and the readiness of the professional community to work together on key challenges in the coming years.
