The 34th International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, Building Automation ELEKTRO has been opened today June 8 at Crocus Expo.
ELEKTRO – a key international networking platform integrating specialists of electrical engineering, electric power sector, construction, lighting and building automation.
Advanced electrical equipment, innovative developments, including power supply, high-voltage equipment, low-voltage equipment, power transformers, distributor cabinets and boxes, lighting, cables and wiring products, wiring tools, metering, control and measurement devices, automation of buildings and structures, industrial automation and dispatching will be presented within the frames of the exposition comprising more than 14 500 square meters. 350 companies from 6 countries confirmed their participation: India, Kazakhstan, China, the Republic of Belarus, Russia and Turkey, while China and Turkey will present national expositions. Russia will be presented at the exhibition by 178 companies.
The exhibitors will present a number of innovative developments and advanced solutions:
- Frequency converters and soft starters from Silium;
- BDRIVE industrial automation tools;
- An adjustable electric drive from Electrotex-IN;
- Emflex® cable for universal use from EM-Cable, awarded the highest award in the Innovation 2025 nomination of the 100 Best Goods of Russia competition;
- A capacitor for electric traction drive of high-speed trains from Nucon Energy;
- INVT converters that provide precise and efficient frequency and voltage regulation to reduce power consumption;
- Technology for controlling the MEGE Drive frequency converter (MD580 and MD850 models) via the PROFIBUS industrial bus from MEG Electro, and many others.
The programme’s key event is the next edition of the Business Forum on Electrical Engineering. New Energy of Development. It included an analytical session on electrical engineering market 2026-2027, dedicated to the issues of technological sovereignty, import substitution, staff shortage and entering the markets of Asia and North Africa. The session was attended by representatives of RAEC, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and international experts.
The Expert Day of Electrical Equipment for Distribution Networks and Power Supply of Facilities will features the following topics: Trends and problems in the design of power grids using digital twins, BIM models, intelligent control systems and surge protection; Made in Russia.
