International travel and hospitality show MITT results
The International travel and hospitality show MITT , an international platform for countries, regions and companies from Russia and the world to present their travel & hospitality products and services on the Russian market, was held March 11 through 13 at Crocus Expo. The 32nd edition of MITT brought together over 900 exhibitors from 40 countries and 14 800 travel professionals from across Russia and beyond reaffirming its role as a leading B2B platform for the global tourism industry.
Foreign participants include Oman, Egypt, China, Turkey, Malaysia, Maldives, Cuba, Venezuela, Tunisia, Algeria, Uganda, Namibia and other countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The exposition also brought together national tourist offices, regional administrations, tour operators, hotel chains, MICE operators and traveltech companies, presenting a wide range of tourist products - from mass beach destinations to niche recreation formats, including medical, gastronomic and environmental tourism.
The foreign MITT exposition has become one of the largest in recent years, covering all the variety of tourist products: from beach classics and novelties of the season to niche segments (wellness, gastronomy, medicine) and MICE areas. Oman, the Official Partner Country, showcased the tourism opportunities of beach and mountain resorts, eco-friendly itineraries and offerings in the luxury and MICE segments. Egypt, an international tourism partner of the exhibition, presented a new strategy for promoting cultural tourism and presented the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened to visitors in 2025. China has shown the tourism potential of several regions of the country, including megacities and resorts on Hainan Island. Namibia took part in MITT for the first time, presenting safari tours and eco-programs. Traditionally, the largest stand was arranged by Turkey, and Malaysia introduced the professional audience to beach, cultural and gastronomic routes.
Russian regions comprised a significant place in the exposition, demonstrating a variety of areas of domestic tourism - from cultural and educational routes to ecological, gastronomic and event tourism. Visitors could discover the beauty of Murmansk and Kamchatka, appreciate the richness of Sakhalin's nature, explore the culture of Dagestan and fall in love with the classic routes of St. Petersburg again.
The MITT 2026 business programme also set a new record, with over 4,300 attendees participating in more than 40 events across six platforms. Key programme highlights included: Forum of Travel and Hospitality Industry Leaders; MITT Digital; MITT MICE; MITT Summit Hotel; MITT Academy. Discussions focused on major industry developments, particularly digital transformation, infrastructure investment and evolving travel formats.
The next edition of the International travel and hospitality show MITT will be held April 13 through 15, 2027.
