The International travel and hospitality show MITT is open

The International travel and hospitality show MITT , an international platform for countries, regions and companies from Russia and the world to present their travel & hospitality products and services on the Russian market, has been opened today March 11 at Crocus Expo.

MITT offers exhibitors and visitors a unique opportunity to meet representatives of global travel associations and industry regulators, to find new clients and partners, and to explore latest trends in the travel & hospitality business (thanks to the exclusive events of the MITT Business Program).

This year, 40 countries present their national expositions, including Oman, Egypt, China, Turkey, Malaysia, African countries, as well as most regions of Russia. The exhibition traditionally brings together national tourist offices, regional administrations, tour operators, hotel chains, MICE operators and travel-tech companies.

Oman is a Partner Country for MITT 2026. The Sultanate is participating in the show for the second year in a row and has demonstrated a steady increase in interest from Russian tourists. By the end of 2025, more than 77,000 Russian citizens had visited the country, thanks to the visa-free regime and expanded air connectivity. Oman's display will feature leading tour operators and major hotel brands, beach and mountain resorts, eco-tourism routes, desert campsites, as well as luxury and MICE offerings.

A presentation of the Grand Egyptian Museum, opened to the public in November 2025, will be the central event at the stand of Egypt, the show's Global Travel Partner. As part of its new strategy for promoting tourism regions, the country will focus on transformation from a primarily beach destination into a world-class cultural tourism hub.

China will showcase an intense display and its tourism prospects in several regions across the country at MITT 2026. The tourist flow between Russia and China is growing rapidly, especially following the introduction of a visa-free regime. The country's stand will feature sightseeing programmes, megacities, resorts on Hainan Island, and combined tours.

Namibia will take part in MITT for the first time, expanding the show's African reach. The country will present safari programmes, adventure tours, and eco-tours to national parks and deserts.

Malaysia's stand will feature unique tours to tropical beaches, cultural centers, and nature reserves, as well as gastronomy routes. The country will also display a variety of programmes for Russian tourists: family routes and combined tours around the peninsula.

Türkiye will traditionally occupy the largest stand and bring together the most prominent representatives of the tourism industry.

The CIS, Middle East, Asia, and Africa are also among the show participants. The display will cover a wide range of tourism products: from mass beach holidays to niche destinations, including wellness, health-care and gastronomy tourism, cultural programmes, and MICE.

A significant portion of the exhibition will be made up of Russian regions, which will also showcase a wide range of destinations: from cultural, educational, and event tourism to resort & spa and eco-tourism. Among them are regular show participants: Krasnodar Territory, Samara Region, Tatarstan, Sevastopol, Kamchatka Territory, and St. Petersburg, as well as the Republic of Dagestan (Strategic Partner), continuing its systematic promotion of the region as one of the most dynamically developing domestic tourism destinations.

MITT 2026 will especially focus on the development of healthcare and recreation tourism segments that have demonstrated steady growth in demand for recent years. At the exhibition, the show participants will present resort & spa programmes, integrated recreation bundles, detox and wellness tourism, as well as specialized health-care services such as diagnostics, rehabilitation, and aesthetic medicine.

Key players in the OTA segment, travel tech, and other technology companies will showcase innovative solutions for the tourism and hospitality industry. Special attention will be given to digital ecosystems and hotel revenue optimization tools.

The show participants will enjoy an intense business agenda, including over 40 thematic sessions, conferences, presentations, discussions, and training seminars. Key topics will be the development of regional tourism, collaboration, place branding, and technological transformation of the industry.
