Post show report of the 32nd International exhibition for perfumery and cosmetics industry InterCHARM

The 32nd International exhibition for perfumery and cosmetics industry. Beauty project # 1 in Russia InterCHARM-2025, a meeting place for professionals in the fields of beauty, aesthetics and health was held October 15 through 18 at Crocus Expo.

The scale of the event is impressive: 1,452 participating companies and more than 96,000 specialists and industry representatives - distributors, retailers, manufacturers and cosmetics lovers from all over Russia and from 30 countries of the world including China, South Korea, Turkey, Belarus, UAE, India, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, France, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, DPRK, Brazil, USA, Japan, Indonesia, Serbia, Taiwan, Qatar, and others. This coverage demonstrates the steady dynamic growth of the industry and the global importance of InterCHARM as a center of business activity.

The geography of the exhibition confirmed its international status. Russian companies made up almost half of the participants - 681 manufacturers. China, as a key Asian partner, is in second place with 485 companies. Manufacturers from South Korea (84 companies) and Turkey (57 companies) took an active part. The exhibition clearly demonstrated the reorientation of the market: along with European brands, companies from the Republic of Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, India and Central Asia play an increasingly prominent role.

InterCHARM became a reflection of the entire beauty value chain: 56.5% of companies were manufacturers and contract production facilities, offering full-service solutions for turnkey product development; 24.7% were suppliers of raw materials and ingredients, from minerals and botanical extracts to peptides and biotech actives; 25.8% represented the packaging sector, including bottles, tubes, jars, cartons, and modern design solutions; 21.2% were equipment manufacturers, providing everything from mixing systems to reactors and filling lines. The heart of the show was finished brands, with over 85% showcasing cosmetics, perfumes, and home care products. 15.9% were distributors and wholesale companies, connecting products to retail channels. This balanced structure turned InterCHARM into a one-stop hub from concept and formulation to final brand and retail rollout.

InterCHARM 2025 reaffirmed its role as not only the largest beauty exhibition in Russia, but also the premier commercial platform for Russian brands across the CIS and partner markets. A key instrument of that was the Retail Connect program a unique format of pre-arranged B2B meetings with buyers from major retail chains of various profiles.

More than 150 targeted meetings of Russian manufacturers with buyers from key Asian countries were held with representatives of Thailand, Malaysia, India, China and the UAE - regions demonstrating growing demand for cosmetic products. The program provided Russian companies with a concentrated opportunity to establish contacts with dozens of promising partners in one day - an alternative to business trips to the region.

InterCHARM was not only a showcase but also the industrys intellectual center. The How to Create a Beauty Brand conference offered a practical, step-by-step guide for entrepreneurs and brand directors from idea and audience research to formulation, packaging, entering marketplaces, and building distribution. The business program also featured conferences on natural cosmetics, household chemicals, and industry-specific seminars.

The flagship conference Cosmetics in Russia became the key analytical platform of 2025, offering the latest market figures, forecasts up to 2030, and in-depth discussions on regulatory barriers and export opportunities.

The 33rd International exhibition for perfumery and cosmetics industry InterCHARM will be held October 14 through 17, 2026.
