The 12th International exhibition for contact manufacturing and private label market SobMaExpo, a key meeting point for retailers, brand owners and contract manufacturers from all over Russia and other countries, was held April 15 and 16 at Crocus Expo.
The event was attended by more than 5,000 specialists, including representatives of retail chains, marketplaces, pharmacies, distributors, manufacturers and brand owners. 250 companies from 10 countries displayed their goods and services within the exposition which comprised 8,000 square meters.
SobMaExpo has confirmed its status as the leading professional platform where key trends are discussed and real deals take place in the private label segment.
Every year the exhibition becomes more and more representative in terms of geography. This year, expositions from the Republic of Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, China, India, South Korea, Turkey, Iran and Serbia were presented at the exhibition along with companies from Moscow, Kaluga, Samara regions and the Krasnodar Territory. The participation of Belarusian manufacturers who offered a wide range of goods adapted to the Russian market was especially noticeable. At the stands, products of all key FMCG categories were presented: from food products to cosmetics, dietary supplements, household chemicals, goods for children and pets. This coverage allows industry specialists to find at SobMaExpo not only new products, but also ready-made solutions for launching their own brands.
Visitors and exhibitors had an opportunity not only to get acquainted with the new products, personally evaluate and test them, but also to determine a business development strategy at the annual two-day Retail Connect Summit. Experts discussed how to launch a private label brand—choose a niche, organize production, attract the customer—how to continue to effectively interact with retail chains.
This unique matchmaking system was available only for SobMaExpo exhibitors, retail chains and brand owners. For manufacturers, it gave real opportunity to hold multiple F2F sessions with decision makers, discuss potential orders, supplies and contracts. The format of quick negotiations allowed for more than 700 meetings, most of which ended with the signing of agreements or the beginning of commercial discussions.
The business program included a two-day conference featuring more than 15 hours of professional content from 36 speakers. Among them are experts from Roskachestvo, NielsenIQ, DSM Group, Pyaterochka, AKORT, ROMIR and other organizations that form the agenda in retail and production. More than 400 specialists took part in the conference.
The 13th edition of the International exhibition for contact manufacturing and private label market SobMaExpo will be held April 14 and 15, 2026.
