The International trade fair of agricultural machinery and technologies for the production and processing of potatoes, vegetables and fruits AGROTECH Expo: Potatoes, Vegetables and Fruits was held January 22 through 24, 2025 at Crocus Expo.
Investors, managers, seed breeders, agronomists, processing technologists, technical and other specialists in the field of growing and processing potatoes, vegetables and fruits, representatives of trade and retail companies, consulting, financial and insurance services, quality control services, industry associations, science, education and government bodies attended the fair.
Both fairs brought together over 800 exhibitors offering solutions for various areas of agricultural production and processing, of which 150+ were in the field of growing and processing potatoes, vegetables and fruits. More than 20000 professional visitors from all over Russia and neighboring countries attended the event.
Winners Awarding BEST AT AGROTECH Expo: Potatoes Vegetables Fruits 2025 Contest was held after the official opening ceremony of the exhibition. Grand Prix was granted to 11 best solutions.
The simultaneous holding of AGROTECH POTATO HORTI EXPO and AGROS Expo brought a lot of synergies and excellent and relevant content in more than 80 conferences with the participation of about 450 industry experts. More than 40 business events with participation of 265 experts and specialists practitioners were dedicated to topics related to the production and processing of potatoes, vegetables and fruits.
The main topic of the plenary session Potato and vegetables growing within the framework of the national project Technological provision of food security in Russia became a theme that ran throughout the entire program of events.
A special point of attraction at the exhibition was again the Potato House, organized by the Union of Potato and Vegetable Market Participants (Potato Union). For numerous visitors, a special tasting zone was organized there, where snacks prepared from varieties of potatoes and vegetables of Russian selection were presented, and the chefs of the International Alliance of Professional Culinary Specialists held master classes on the preparation of salads, pies and various national dishes with potatoes and vegetables from domestic companies.
Forum Agro-education and human resources in the agricultural sector was of special importance for the attendees of the business program. It was segmented into four parts: Improving the image of agricultural professions: tools and ambassadors; Training under a targeted agreement: successes and challenges; Industrial internship: how to adapt study schedules to meet employer demands; Production competencies of Instructors in specialized disciplines.
Another important event took place at the exhibition - the new conceptual project AgroCampus and Career was successfully launched within the framework of which 53 career program events for young people were held. During the three days of the exposition, AgroCampus was visited by many students from well-known agricultural universities of the country, as well as students of agricultural classes.
The next edition of the International trade fair of agricultural machinery and technologies for the production and processing of potatoes, vegetables and fruits AGROTEC Expo: Potatoes, Vegetables and Fruits will be held January 21 through 23, 2026.
