International exhibition of lifts, lifting equipment and components Lift Expo. Moscow was held October 9 through 11 at Crocus Expo.
Participants gathered in Moscow for three days to exchange experiences, discuss the latest trends in the field of elevator construction, search for partners and conclude trade contracts.
More than100 exhibitors including the largest factories, manufacturers of small cargo elevators and platforms for the disabled, suppliers of components and components, developers of control systems, dispatch complexes and software for monitoring the operation of elevators from Russia, the EAEU, China and Turkey displayed their products and services within the exposition comprising more than 7 000 square meters.
Over 3,700 visitors from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, China, Iran attended the exhibition.
For several months the competition committee had been working to determine the winners of the 'Best in Lift Construction' competition, which was an integral part of the 'Lift Expo. Moscow 2024'. However, the organizing team decided that it would be fair to take into account the opinion of visitors as well. That is a special nomination - the 'People's Choice Award' was introduces. Every visitor and exhibitor had the opportunity to vote for the stand they liked and remembered best.
An unusual format for discussing educational issues was a business game for students of construction colleges "Build the Lift of the Future", organized with the participation of RosCapStroy. The task was designed for teamwork and included all stages of the project from idea to implementation options. The results of the game were evaluated by the jury, whose members were experts in the field of industrial and civil construction, representatives of leading lift equipment manufacturers.
On 10 October, a ceremony was held at the ELA stand (A5) to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the All Elevator Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TASİAD) and the Eurasian Elevator Association. The business communities decided to join their efforts for the operational solution of the lift industry issues and for the exchange of experience at the international level. The cooperation includes not only the exchange of technical knowledge, but also the joint development of innovative solutions and approaches to create safe, efficient and reliable lifting systems.
During the long negotiations it was decided to focus on cooperation in the following areas: exchange of information and experience, enabling both organizations to learn from international best practice; undertaking joint research to harmonize international standards and improve the safety and quality of lifts; cooperation in research and development to develop innovative methods and introduce new technologies; to organize joint seminars, workshops and training programs to improve the knowledge and skills of industry professionals.
Lift Expo. Moscow became the leading platform for exchanging experience, discussing the latest trends in lift construction, finding partners and concluding business contracts. It was a unique opportunity to demonstrate the achievements of scientific and technical progress and to outline the directions of further development of the industry.
