Results of the Anniversary International exhibition for waste management, recycling and ecology WasteTech
The Anniversary International exhibition for waste management, recycling and ecology WasteTech, a main business event that offers equipment, technologies, and services for housing sector and all the types of industries, was held September 10 through 12 at Crocus Expo.
The exposition has grown compared to the previous exhibition, proving the seriousness of the intentions of domestic business. The share of companies representing domestic equipment for handling various types of waste, complex solutions for waste processing, technologies for environmentally friendly processing has significantly increased.
The equipment and services were presented by enterprises from Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kurgan, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl regions, Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvash Republic, Udmurt Republic - 90 companies from 20 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as enterprises from China and Turkey.
4 000 professionals attended the event. Representatives of companies - regional waste management operators, housing and communal services enterprises, various industries, trade companies, government bodies from 73 regions of Russia. Among the visitors were specialists from 11 foreign countries - the Republic of Belarus, Germany, Iran, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
Exhibitors had an opportunity to participate in the conference program of the exhibition, upgrade their skills and learn from new industry practices, experiences and opinions within the frames of the Forum WasteTech business program.
The WasteTech forum, the program of practical conferences for regional operators, engineers, environmentalists and other industry professionals, revealed all the intricacies of building an integrated waste management system, digitalization of the industry, as well as key changes in industry legislation.
Experts and participants in the waste management industry discussed at the profile sessions a list of actions necessary for the transition to a circular economy, the current state of the waste management reform, problems of tariff regulation, separate waste collection, the impact of EPR on the transition to a cyclical economy.
Awarding ceremony for the winners of EcwaTech WasteTech Awards (EWA) for enterprises operating in the field of waste management, housing sector and ecology was held within the frames of the exhibition.
Visiting WasteTech opened up opportunities to meet representatives of waste management companies from almost all regions of Russia, take part in business program and discuss future cooperation with your new business partners.
The next edition of the International exhibition for waste management, recycling and ecology WasteTech will be held September 9 through 11, 2025.
