Post show report of the 35th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF)
The 35th Moscow International Optical Fair was held September 10 through 12 at Crocus Expo.
The anniversary exhibition brought together more than 100 distributors of glasses, frames and lenses, suppliers of ophthalmic equipment and devices, services and accessories in the field of optics. The exposition of the event presented fashion collections of famous world brands, modern optical products, trendy and stylish models of glasses and frames.
The Alhemer Optik’s collections aroused a large interest among the visitors of the event. The company brought to MIOF a unique line of ChoCo by TATTVA children's frames made of hand-engraved titanium and a limited collection of TATTVA premium frames.
Optik-Market+ introduced to MIOF guests the environmentally friendly German brand ANGELS of the supplier of medical frames and sunglasses, - Wagner + Kühner GmbH. The company also presented collections of European brands PIER MARTINO, KWIAT, HEAD, AIGNER, S.OLIVER, MORE&MORE, C-ZONE, WK +, BASIC.
MIOF visitors were the first to get acquainted with the latest glasses from Nicoleta Buchi, which were showcased by Avvita company.
OpticDesignLab, a Russian frame factory from Vladimir for the first time presented at MIOF a limited collection of O.D.L. Suzdal, the latest frame models O.D.L. Avangard and O.D.L. Estetica.
New MIOF participants, HTS Rus and the Belarusian network Fielinn Optika, brought their optical lines to the exhibition site.
HTS Rus introduced glasses of the cult Italian brand L.G.R., sunglasses and frames by U.S. Polo Assn. and the SS24 collection by the Italian brand RETROSUPERFUTURE.
Fielinn Optika presented world brands of sunglasses to MIOF guests: Gucci, Tom Ford, Balenciaga.
Opticus brought to MIOF fashionable samples of frames in a variety of styles - from classics to ultra-modern models: TRUSSARDI, Ana Hickmann, Bulget, T-Charge, children's Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, new products of its own brands - Ventoe, Este ilo, Swing, Ben.X.
The stand of Luxury Eyecon, the exclusive distributor of premium optical brands of foreign manufacturers in Russia, became one of the points of attraction. The company displayed Lutece, VOA, ic! Berlin, Undostrial, LINDA FARROW, Gast, Bali Eyewear, Renaissance, New Balance, Champion, Lithe, Makellos, Bench, S. Oliver, Bentley, Charriol, F2, Any Di brands.
OptikaLine, the exclusive and authorized representative of the Turkish factory Merve Optik in Russia, presented models from Mustang, Osse, Hawk, Optelli and Diverso brands.
A wide range of ophthalmic equipment was presented by InterOPTIC-Service, Panfundus, Stormoff, OKOmed. MIOF visitors could not only get acquainted with models from the world's leading manufacturers, but also get the necessary advice.
Another premiere at MIOF, Kepler presented at the fair a line of optibots to demonstrate the properties of optical lenses.
Fashion Showcase of the autumn edition offered the guests of the event the most fashionable and creative optical models.
The following companies presented their products within the framework of the Fashion Showcase: Alhemer Optik, Brevno, Burma, Escont-Optica, Medstar, New Line Group, Optik-Market+, Optica Euro & IE Kuzina E.V., OPTICALINE, OpticDesignLab, OPTIFLEX, REARDEN.
On September 10 and 11 the Business Educational Forum brought together ophthalmologists, opticians, teachers of educational institutions, representatives of the optical business. The participants of the forum considered the topics of prevention and treatment of eye diseases as well as general popular business issues: personnel in optics, training of optics personnel, legal aspects of interaction with consumers and many others. The Second All-Russian conference on congenital aniridia with international participation “Congenital Aniridia - Clinic, Diagnosis and Rehabilitation” was held on September 10. Professionals in the field of vision from Russia, the USA, France and Sweden were the speakers of the event. IX Kids vision scientific and practical conference was held on September 11.
The 36th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF) will be held February 18 through 20, 2025.
