Results of the International exhibition STONE INDUSTRY
The 24th International exhibition Stone Industry, the biggest and crucial international exhibition for quarrying, processing and application of natural stone in Russia and CIS, was held June 25 through 27, 2024 at Crocus Expo.
The exposition space increased by almost 50% compared to the previous year and amounted to 9,142 square meters. 294 companies from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, India, Iran, Italy and Turkey exhibited within the frames of the exhibition. The number of visitors was 7,344 specialists.
For the 24th time since its founding, STONE INDUSTRY brought together on a single platform representatives of companies engaged in the extraction and processing of natural stone, and their clients - workers in the stone mining and stone processing industries, builders, architects, designers, professionals in the field of urban planning and urban management, artists, restorers, etc.
During 3 days of the exhibition, experts could see with their own eyes stone from more than 50 quarries located in various parts of Russia and the CIS, as well as marble, granite from India, onyx and travertine from Turkey and Iran, marble and quartz from China.
Granite, pegmatite, gabbro, basalt, marble, limestone, tuff, shell rock, travertine shone with a variety of colors and patterns. Almost all traditional varieties of stone, which have a large volume of consumption in the stone industry, were presented at the exhibition. The consumer only had to choose a stone that suited his needs, at the optimal price and quality.
The significant part of the exposition displayed natural stone products for interior design, improvement, gentrification and application in construction and architecture, art and decorative products, marble mosaics, monuments.
STONE INDUSTRY covered all areas of extraction, processing and use of natural stone in architecture, construction, interior design, building exteriors, landscape design, ritual business, etc., namely: geological exploration; quarry development and engineering; sand-gravels & loose stone deposits; unworked stone, blocks & slabs; stone products; architectural designs with application of natural stone; quarry & quarrying machinery; stone processing machinery & equipment; stone processing tools; accessories & spare parts; chemicals for care & preservation of natural stone; conservation & restoration of natural stone; industrial safety & environmental protection, quarry restoration; protection & safety items, protecting cloths; transportation & logistics.
The exhibition was accompanied by an extensive business program. As part of the STONE INDUSTRY-2024, practical master classes and seminars were held for industry representatives. Another traditional aspect of the exhibition's business program is seminars for architects and designers on the use of natural stone. The conference of the UNION OF STONE PROCESSERS, organization in the field of stone processing and the first professional union that covers the whole of Russia, was held within the frames of the project.
The next edition of the International exhibition STONE INDUSTRY will be held June 24 through 26, 2025.
