The 28th International Exhibition of machines and equipment for mining, processing and transportation of minerals MiningWorld Russia was held April 23 through 25 at Crocus Expo.
Records in terms of visitors, number of exhibitors and exhibition space - this is what distinguished the exhibition MiningWorld Russia 2024, which was held at Crocus Expo. 578 companies took part in the exhibition, which is 1.5 times more than last year (368 companies). The total number of participants increased by 57% compared to last year. For more than 320 companies, participation in the exhibition was their debut.
The exposition of machinery and equipment for mining was located on 30+ thousand square meters of the exhibition area. A record number of visitors for 28 years – 8,410 specialists - familiarized themselves with the offer of the exhibitors.
National and foreign producers and suppliers of machines and equipment for mining, processing and transportation of minerals displayed their products and services within 11 thematic sections and special exposition Heavy Equipment Area at MiningWorld Russia. As part of the special exposition Heavy Equipment Area, real large-sized samples of equipment for the extraction and processing of minerals were demonstrated. Visitors saw excavators, dump trucks, drilling rigs, tunneling machines, other wheeled and tracked vehicles.
Within the framework of the Equipment for Power Supply of Mining Enterprises section, exhibitors traditionally represented the following product categories: Automated process control systems; Automated systems for control and accounting of electricity; Automated systems for technical accounting of energy resources; Substation equipment: power transformers, high and low voltage switchgears; Devices for control and protection of electric motors, electric networks, transformers and generators; Autonomous and stationary power supplies; Electrical cable; Equipment and technologies for heat supply of the mining industry; Lighting equipment.
MiningWorld Russia is the internationally recognized trade show servicing the mining & mineral extraction industry. As a business platform, the exhibition connected equipment and technology manufacturers with buyers from Russian mining companies, mineral processors, and wholesalers interested in buying the latest mining solutions.
Delegates of 12 business events learned up-to-date statistics on exploration, mining and mineral processing, got acquainted with real cases of digitalization of production facilities and practices to improve their efficiency. A total of 93 industry experts from 71 companies made their reports. The events were attended by 823 delegates, as well as 978 listeners connected to the online video broadcast.
Topics such as geological exploration, automation, technological sovereignty, mineral processing, labour shortage and many others were covered in the MiningWorld Russia 2024 business program. For the first time, the exhibition held round tables on components and technologies for increasing the efficiency of mining production, and on the practice of introducing and using artificial intelligence in the mining industry.
MINING INDUSTRY LEADERS FORUM – 3 days of conferences and sessions. On the agenda were: ESG and digital transformation, industrial safety, optimization and operational efficiency, internal growth. Besides the Awarding ceremony for the winners of the Mining Industry 4.0 was held within the frames of the Forum.
The next edition of the International Exhibition of machines and equipment for mining, processing and transportation of minerals MiningWorld Russia will be held April 23 through 25, 2025.
