Post show report of the International building and interiors trade show MosBuild

The International building and interiors trade show MosBuild 2024 was held April 2 through 5 at Crocus Expo. The exhibition was held for the 29th time and once again brought together manufacturers and suppliers of building and finishing materials, furniture and decor items, architects and designers, specialists from wholesale and retail organizations, construction, and repair companies.

MosBuild is the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe building and interiors trade show. Over 1,400 Russian and international companies exhibited in 2024 which is 1.5 times more than a year earlier. The show was attended by 57,502 visitors aimed at searching new products and services for business development. 

The exhibition again confirmed the status of the largest industrial platform in Russia and the CIS. It occupied about 80,000 square meters in 11 Crocus Expo halls. Over 500 companies have joined MosBuild for the first time. 15 sections of MosBuild embraced the entire universe of materials, tools, technical solutions, and services required for all stages of design, construction, finishing and decoration processes.

Exhibitors from 20 countries presented their products within the trade show sectors: from construction and finishing materials to furniture and decorative items. The leading market players showed their new products at the show: Rusal, White Hills, Kerama Marazzi, Knauf, Melke, FUTURUSS, Schtandart, Alta-Profil, Albes, Aluminstroy, TD Ceramics and Clinker, Penetron, Syktyvkar Plywood Plant, Mosplitka, Manders, Tikkurila, Espocada, Magellan, Evroplast, Orac Decor, Salini, Iberis Group, San Marco, Santop, Melana, Arlight, Maytoni, Systeme Electric, Centrsvet, Beryoza Ceramica, Primavera, Ennface, Maimoon Ceramica, Monalisa, Art de Vivre, Bomond, Loymina, KT Exclusive, Wallpaper South, Affresco, Du&Ka, Goznak, ARTISHOCK, Venice Stone, INTERSTONE, Horizon, GranitInvest, Ferroni, Kastamonu, Alpine Floor, Coswick, Finex, ProfilDoors, Moorgen, Sofia, Volkhovets, Maria Furniture Factory, Verona Mobile, Parra and many others.

MosBuild 2024 for the first time represented a new “Stone” section supported by Karelforum with over 50 exhibitors. It included producers from the Northwestern Federal District, Siberia and Tatarstan, and a wide range of artificial and natural stone companies from Korea, Slovenia, China, Brazil and India.

More than 57,500 specialists attended MosBuild 2024, including 21,431 representatives of wholesale and retail trade companies, 9,633 specialists in the field of construction and renovation, 10,409 designers and architects. 32,170 show visitors were represented top management.

MosBuild 2024 business programme represented 10 content areas and over 50 events with useful business and industry information. Agenda included: trends and prospects, market analytics, best practices exchange by the leading market experts. The business programme areas were attended by 7,698 specialists.

DIY Forum brought together the leading industry experts to meet the speakers of the largest market companies – manufacturers, diy retail chains and marketplaces.

The exhibition was once again graced by Decorium, a creative, colorful space dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in architecture and design by RTUT bureau. Leading Russian designers gave lectures and master classes throughout the 4 show days in this lecture hall supported by Biofa, the General Partner of the project in 2024.

Architectural Arena, a traditional platform with a program for architects, a Building Innovations and Master Classes Area, and two large-scale events for window industry Okna 360o conference and Big Window Forum completed the industry topics’ range.

MosBuild Connect x Interior + Design Studio was for the first time created at MosBuild in 2023 and immediately became the second most attended area. In 2024, the design of the space had been developed by Horomystudio, and the site was curated by I+D. The Studio's speakers were architects and designers, top managers of companies, representatives of the DIY sector, green building specialists, architectural critics, and industry journalists. The project is supported by Mercurystone, UFC Group and Biofa.

The next 30th anniversary edition of MosBuild will be held April 1 through 4, 2025.
