The International exhibition of technologies for production and processing of potatoes and vegetables Potatoes and Vegetables Agrotech 2024 was held January 24 through 26 at Crocus Expo. The event witnessed unprecedented success, breaking previous records across various metrics.
With a remarkable increase of 60% compared to the 2023 edition, a total of 713 companies from 24 countries around the globe converged on a sprawling 38,600 square meters of exhibition space, representing a remarkable 90% growth compared to the previous year. This expansion allowed exhibitors to present the most modern solutions and advancements in agriculture to a record-breaking attendance of 18,640 professionals from the agricultural sector, marking a substantial 30% increase from 2023. These attendees hailed from across Russia and neighboring countries, emphasizing the event's significance as a regional hub for agricultural innovation.
Commenting on the success of the event, Gennady Mindru, the Managing Director of Agros Expo Grupp, stated, "We are thrilled to see AGROS and Potato Horti AgriTech continue to grow and evolve, attracting more national and international exhibitors, investors, specialist visitors, and industry experts year after year. The business program, a hallmark of the event, showcased a record number of industry experts – 574 (+50% compared with 2023) – who spoke at 80 business events (+40%). This demonstrates the commitment of AGROS and Potato Horti AgriTech to provide unparalleled opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking among attendees.The significance of the event was noted at the official opening ceremony by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Aleksey Gordeev.
