Russian Diagnostic Summit results
Congress and exhibition event Russian Diagnostic Summit was held October 4 through 6 at Crocus Expo.
This year, the interdisciplinary focus of the scientific program of the Summit was the theme of inflammation as the leitmotif of diagnostics. Experts discussed various pathological processes from the perspective of their specialization as well as from the standpoint of common diagnostic service problems. Among other key themes of the Summit were current issues in molecular diagnostics, genetics and immunology, radiological, ultrasound, functional, and radionuclide diagnostics, hematology and hemostasis, microbiological research and infectious diseases, quality assurance and adequate interpretation of results issued, as well as education and training of personnel, organization and economics of diagnostic services, and medical device regulation.
The Russian Diagnostic Summit brought together three major events of diagnostic services: IX Russian Congress of Laboratory Medicine (RCLM); VI Annual Conference of Moscow Regional Branch of the Russian Society of Radiologists MRO Radiation Diagnostics: Interdisciplinary Interaction; X Conference MIR. Management in Medicine.
More than 207 scientific and educational events were held in 19 conference halls during three days of work: forums, conferences, consultation sessions, seminars, discussions, round tables and master classes. The scientific-educational included numerous multidisciplinary discussions and specialized sections on pathology, radiology, pre-analytics, clinical cytology, analytical chemistry, and drug monitoring, master classes on ultrasound research, and schools for radiology laboratory technicians.
The moderators and speakers of the Summit were 750 experts and leaders in the field of medical diagnostics. The number of specialist visited in 2023 became a truly record - 11,923 attendees.
More than 200 manufacturers and suppliers of the diagnostic, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment presented their latest solutions at their stands within the frames of the Diagnopolis International exhibition. Besides, special areas were located on the city squares for conducting workshops using the laboratory, ultrasound and PD equipment, workstations for post-processing of diagnostic images.
