The annual International specialized exhibition MAP Russia & VIV business program results
The annual International specialized exhibition showcasing the whole cycle of meat and poultry production and processing – from animal feed ingredients to packaging and transportation Meat & Poultry Industry Russia & VIV 2023 was held May 30 through June 1, 2023 at Crocus Expo.
The exhibition was visited by the head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Butusov. Turkish Ambassador to Russia Mehmet Samsar also attended the event. He stated that professional relations in the field of the agro-industrial complex of Russia and Turkey will allow both states to strengthen their positions in the global market.
One of the leading events in the industry has become a platform for a professional discussion between market players: producers, suppliers, service companies and state authorities, who faced problems and tasks of a new scale during the period of ongoing global changes.
Summit AGRARIAN POLICY OF RUSSIA: Meat Market, State and Prospects of the Industry in the New Conditions became the key event of the business program. Meat and Poultry Industry Russia Summit is a unique platform for complete education and networking experience with industry stakeholders and think tanks. It was held alongside with Meat and Poultry Industry Russia &VIV 2023 exhibition.
During the two days of its work, plenary sessions and meetings were held to discuss state policy issues on supporting and developing the agricultural complex in current conditions, working towards a consolidated position of government and business on issues related to state support for meat and poultry production , as well as an outlook for the development of agriculture in the context of bio--security, food safety, product quality and export potential of the industry.
Panel discussion: global situation in the market of animal protein production and opportunities for Russia in the next 10-20 years; Sessions Animal protein consumption analysis and Agro-industrial complex export in 2023, main problems and perspectives were held within the frames of the first day of the summit. On the second day the attendees discussed issues related to current problems of the quality and safety of poultry products and ways to solve them.
The next edition of the annual International specialized exhibition MAP Russia & VIV will be held May 28 through 30, 2024 at Crocus Expo
