The 27th International exhibition of technologies and equipment for mining and processing of minerals MiningWorld Russia was held April 25 through 27 at Crocus Expo.
As a business platform, the exhibition connected equipment and technology manufacturers with buyers from Russian mining companies, mineral processors, and wholesalers interested in buying the latest mining solutions.
368 Russian and foreign companies from Australia, Austria, Republic of Belarus, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, France, South Africa and Japan participated in the event.
8 299 visitors attended the exhibition in the course of three days. Overall exposition space comprised 16 000 sq m. Exhibitors from 17 countries displayed a wide range of equipment and technologies for the mining industry.
In 2023, more than 100 companies exhibited at MiningWorld Russia for the first time: Technotrade, Millhouse Capital KZ Group of Companies, Schwing Stetter India PVT LTD, Scientific and Technical Centre Bakor, UralEnergoResurs Group of Companies, JINPENG MINING MACHINERY, OKB MIKRON, GORNYE INSTRUMENTY, TERRAMINE, “IZTM”, AGROPROMShINA, OMNICOMM, ITEM and many others.
The growing interest in Chinese mining equipment was evidenced by the increased number of participants from China – 134 companies, which was 42% more than before the pandemic. Kingda Pump Group Company, Luoyang Wangli Heavy Machinery, Shandong RZ Drilling Tools, Shenyang Hanwei, GSS ROCK TOOLS INC, JINSHI DRILLTECH, FORWARD and many other Chinese companies were ready to offer their equipment to the Russian market.
The visitors could get acquainted with all the services, equipment and machinery necessary for the mining industry. Participating companies presented their products in 11 sections. As part of the special exposition Heavy Equipment Area, real large-sized samples of equipment for the extraction and processing of minerals were demonstrated. Visitors saw excavators, dump trucks, drilling rigs, tunneling machines, other wheeled and tracked vehicles.
11 business events were held within the frames of the project. More than 80 speakers presented their reports on key issues and challenges of the industry. During conferences, sessions and discussions, experts discussed the digitalization of the mining industry, personnel issues, energy supply and energy saving, improving the efficiency of mining enterprises and exploration, the current state of the gold mining industry, etc.
The next edition of MiningWorld Russia will be held April 23 through 25, 2024.
