BW Expo presented novelties of the national and foreign bus and coach fleet
The largest in Russia and the eastern Europe International bus and coach show BW Expo powered by Urbantrans 2022 was held November 29 through December 1 at Crocus Expo.
BW Expo became the best place to source coaches, buses, minibuses and spare parts in line with your business and customer requirements. Visiting BW Expo helped passenger carriers and corporate fleet owners to sel ect vehicles to deliver passenger traffic volumes and required quality of service, dealers and resellers – to update the range of vehicles offered to their customers, professional drivers – to update their knowledge and share it with other drivers and colleagues.
The exposition exceeded 6 000 sq m, 37 companies fr om Russia, Belarus and China took part in the show. The exhibition was attended by more than 3 500 specialists in the passenger transportation industry.
The event was held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the city of Moscow and the Association of Automakers of Russia.
GAZ Group, KAMAZ, Minsk Automobile Plant, PC Transport Systems, Sinara Group, HIGER, Yutong, Golden Dragon, King Long, Zhong Tong, China-Motor, Weichai and other manufacturers presented their serial novelties and prototypes.
Business program featured speakers including top managers of bus and coach OEMs, representatives of state regulators, municipal administrations, bus fleet operators, industry analysts and professional associations. The speakers told about the future of commercial vehicles, perspectives of the Russia and EEU bus and coach market, development of alternative fuels, the top regulatory issues, challenges and opportunities of digital transformation. UrbanTrans Mobility Forum, a significant business event of the industry, was held for the first time within the frames of the show. The forum was attended by more tha 440 specialists of the industry.
The show was opened with the Gala Awarding Ceremony for the winners of the Za RulemGrand Prix for commercial vehicles.
27 new vehicles that entered the Russian market in 2022 were entered for the competition.
The professional jury consisting of representatives of large motor transport companies, trading and repair enterprises determined the best models in 5 nominations, and in 2 more nominations the winners were determined by the editors of the Za Rulem magazine.
