Tens of thousands visitors came to the 25th edition of the International exhibition of hospitality industry PIR EXPO 2022
The 25th edition of PIR EXPO-2022, the largest in Russia professional event for the specialists of HoReCa industry, was accommodated in Crocus Expo October 17 through 20, 2022. This year the exhibition brought together 625 leading manufacturers and suppliers of products, solutions and services for the hospitality industry, as well as restaurateurs and hoteliers of Russia and the CIS countries.
The event was supported by federal and regional executive bodies: the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Rostourism and other ministries and departments.
The project traditionally combined HoReCa key areas at thematic platforms: PIR-Restaurant, PIR-Hotel, PIR-Coffee and PIR-Franchising.

Each of the platforms was the largest and most high-profile event in its segment. Thematic division into the most significant areas of the hospitality industry enabled to pay maximum attention to each target audience individually, to showcase innovations, trends and successful business solutions in the most comprehensive and accurate way, to create target and high quality programs for training, business and presentational events for all the categories of the HoReCa industry professionals. The exhibition also provided its visitors with an opportunity to work with maximum efficiency and reward, and its exhibitors – to establish contacts solely with the representatives of their target audience.
Changes came with the PIR Expo! New gastronomical ideas for someone, revelations in a matter of operating for other, new fine suppliers for one, rush of new information, new people and impressions for another. We could say “it was Mecca of hospitality business”!
45 294 visitors, 319 events held on the days of the exhibition, and 701 speakers allowed all guests of the exhibition to gain invaluable knowledge. The best offers from suppliers, personal acquaintance with the brands presented.
PIR EXPO 2022 in figures
More than 500 companies demonstrating the most effective business solutions for the successful operation of modern catering and accommodation facilities displayed their products and services on the exposition comprising 35 000 sq m. 25 training and informative platforms were organized at the fairgrounds. More than 600 recognized industry experts participated in 319 events, providing answers to the most pressing questions.
PIR EXPO AWARDS
Leading industry experts acted again as members of the jury to choose the most relevant and innovative solutions from the products, drinks, equipment, IT and business solutions presented at the exhibition - the best became winners of the Professional Award - PIR EXPO AWARDS. PIR EXPO Awards is the first professional novelty and innovation award for the HoReCa industry. It combines all the cutting-edge technologies, products and solutions that will determine the success of the restaurant, hotel and coffee market in the next few years. Products offered for the award were evaluated on usefulness and relevance of the key solutions for the restaurant and hotel business sectors. The Awarding Ceremony for the winners took place October 17.
The next edition of the International exhibition of hospitality industry PIR EXPO will be held October 3 through 6, 2023 at Crocus Expo.
