Russian and foreign companies took part in Dental Expo 2022.
The 52nd Moscow International dental forum and exhibition Dental Expo 2022, a large scale event for the professionals fr om all branches of dentistry (surgery, parodontology, orthodontology, orthopedics, implantology, therapy, children's dentistry and others), was held September 26 through 29 at Crocus Expo.
Dental-Expo has been held every year since 1996. The project is organized by the DENTALEXPO in partnership with the Russian Dental Association (RDA).
At the official opening of the exhibition and conference welcoming speeches were made by: the President of the RDA, MD, Ph.D. Yaremenko A.I.; Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Freelance Dentist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor O. O. Yanushevich; President of the Association "RoSI" Agaev D.G.; Chairman of the Board of the Union "Medical Resources" Maksimov A.A.; Tyulpina A., representative of the general sponsor of the exhibition, Green Dent; General Director of DENTALEXPO Brodetsky I.I.
Four days of celebration, long-awaited meetings, negotiations, and conferences showed that the dental market functions normally, the educational process expands, and new companies penetrate the market. 305 companies from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, South Korea, India, Turkey, Pakistan, China, Switzerland and Italy presented domestic and foreign technical innovations to the visitors of the exhibition.
As part of the exhibition "Dental Expo 2022", the Conference of the Association of Trade and Industrial Enterprises of Dentistry "Dental Industry ROSI" was held on the topic: "Actual issues of the dental industry", to which representatives of domestic manufacturers of dental products and trading companies were invited.
The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of the Russian Dental Association (RDA) Actual Problems of Dentistry was held within the framework of the forum. This year the Russian Dental Association celebrated its 30th anniversary. The conference included 12 educational symposiums:
- Modern aspects of the treatment of the dentoalveolar system with an interdisciplinary approach. Dentist, osteopath, speech therapist, physiotherapist (heads: Persin L.S., Mokhov D.E., Chechin A.D., Postnikov M.A.);
- Inflammatory diseases of bone tissue in the maxillofacial region. Diagnosis, treatment (supervisor Ivanov S.Yu.)
- The art of dental photography (Chikunov S.O., Shcherbakov V.);
- Three-dimensional technologies in diagnostics and treatment in outpatient dentistry (heads Ryakhovsky A.N., Chibisova M.A.);
- Problematic issues of periodontics and implantology (supervisors Orekhova L.Yu., Atrushkevich V.G.);
- Forensic medical examination in dentistry (headed by Yaremenko A.I., Soikher M.I., Trunin D.A.);
- Round table "Basics and procedure for monitoring the safety of medical devices. Responsibility of the manufacturer, supplier, clinic manager and doctor - wh ere is the line? (heads Yaremenko A.I., Pavlenko I.V.);
- Creation of a transparent incisal edge with finishing contouring (supervisor Vinokur A.A.);
- Digital technologies in dentistry (supervisor Popov N.V.);
- Evaluation of the quality of gnathological treatment (supervisor Bulycheva E.A.)
- Modern aesthetic and functional restoration and practical endodontics - interdisciplinary parallels of the health of the dentoalveolar system (supervisor Mitronin A.V.);
- Prevention of dental diseases (heads Kuzmina I.N., Admakin O.I.)
A forum dedicated to pediatric dentistry was held within the framework of Dental Expo 2022. The forum was timed to the 100th anniversary of the Moscow Medical and Dental University named after A.I. Evdokimov. The forum presented international trends in improving children’s dental care. 350 dentists attended the forum. The two-day session consisted of a lecture program and a series of master classes.
Competitions were held within the framework of the forum:

for the best regional program for the prevention of dental diseases in childhood named after T.I. Chebakova;
-
competition of scientific works "Pediatric dentistry through the eyes of the young", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Moscow State Medical University. A.I. Evdokimov.
As a result of the Forum, the participants proposed a number of measures aimed at supporting the entire dental industry: from simplifying the procedure for registering medical devices and importing dental products to state support for import substitution of missing materials and components. The participants approved a joint Appeal to the Government of the Russian Federation regarding the provision of reservations to employees of the pharmaceutical and medical industries to ensure the smooth operation of the industry.
The next edition of Dental Expo will be held April 24 through 27, 2023.
