CeMAT RUSSIA 2022 post show report.
The 12th International exhibition for material handling, warehousing equipment and logistics services CeMAT RUSSIA was hosted at Crocus Expo September 20 through 22. CeMAT RUSSIA offered a unique chance for all its visitors – to find a solution for more effective logistics in their company, to optimize their expenditures, to get acquainted with market trends and advanced technologies, to chose a supplier and conclude a contract on favorable terms.
137 exhibitors from Russia, Turkey, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus, India, Norway, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France presented their technologies and solutions for effective warehouse logistics and supply chain management. 42 companies took part for the first time.
More than 200 brands presented their products at CeMAT RUSSIA. Regular exhibitors included such well-known industry players as Comitas, Newest Technologies, LogistiX, Constructor, Modula, First Logistik, Logiteсhnika, Fotomechanika, Nissa Enzhiniring, Sealed Air, NAK Mashinery, Linde, STILL, Ateuco, Zebra, EME, PSI Logistics, Fives, JAC, MAGNI, Modula, Umnyj Sklad / IQSKLAD, Axelot, Infor, Vanderlande and many others.
The exhibition was accommodated in two halls and the exposition comprised more than 9,000 square meters. The event was attended by 6,475 specialists from 73 regions of Russia in the course of three days. The abundance of equipment on the stands has become the hallmark of this year's exhibition, more than 100 handling equipment units were presented on the exhibition site.
Automation and robotization in logistics, outsourcing and sharing, inventory planning, delivery, fulfillment and many other topics relevant to specialists were reflected in the events of the CeMAT RUSSIA 2022 business program. The program featured 22 events of various formats: conferences, seminars, presentations and discussions.
Three business platforms were arranged for the visitors. The most urgent issues were discussed at the platforms:

How to plan the work of the logistics division in a situation of uncertainty and change of business partners;

How to find new suppliers in foreign markets of China and other Asian countries;

Does it make sense to continue automation projects or postpone until better times;

What solutions are available in Russia;

What will happen to international brands.
Acting logistics directors told about the most effective ways to reduce logistics costs within the frames of the round table talks. Experts from leading companies presented new equipment and solutions for supply chain management in 30 minutes within the framework of the Gallery of Solutions.
CeMAT RUSSIA was supplemented by the exhibition of transport packaging, packaging equipment and automation tools for packaging processes TRANSPACK.
The Final of the logistics business show Silnoje Zveno was also held within the framework of the exhibition. Top managers of leading Russian companies responsible for supply chain management were encouraged to attend the event. Teams solved logistics problems in real time and presented their solutions to the audience.
The first international conference Logistics of Foreign Markets. Russia - China. Interaction Practice. Technologies, Equipment, Services. was held within the program.
One of the outcomes of the conference was the signing of the Agreement on Strategic Cooperation. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Russian-Chinese Chamber by Pavel Ustyuzhaninov, Head of the Center for Strategic Development, and on behalf of CeMAT RUSSIA by Nikolai Kamenetsky, Director General DM RUS.
CeMAT RUSSIA 2022 provided the perfect platform to choose the best software and technical solutions, to negotiate directly with manufacturers and official suppliers in a short time, to compare offers from different companies and to get the most advantageous offers!
The next edition of the exhibition will be held September 19 through 21, 2023.
