National Dog Shows Russia 2020-2021 and Russia 2022 at Crocus Expo
National Dog Shows Russia 2020-2021 and Russia 2022, one of the largest dog shows of the year, will be held November 26 and 27 at Crocus Expo. The organizer of the project is the Russian Kynological Federation. 25 judges from 7 countries will estimate the dogs.
Russian Kynological Federation (RKF) is a public non-profit association of cynological organizations. Established in 1991. Currently, RKF is the largest cynological organization in Russia. About 5.5 million dogs, 1427 dog clubs, and about 22,358 kennels from all regions of the country are registered in the RKF Stud book.
The dog show is a family oriented event. Organizers accept about thousand of participants from all corners of the country. Traditionally the guests of the dog show will have an opportunity to see dogs of nearly 300 breeds, and also various performances and shows from dog trainers and sportsmen.
A traditional competition Junior Handling will take place in the framework of the Show 2022. The aim of Junior Handling competitions is to increase the youth’s interest in canine activities and promote and develop the co-operation and contacts between dogs and the young people. The object of judging is the interaction between participants and their dogs, their skills of preparation and dog demonstration in the ring.
