WorldFood Moscow, the 31st largest international autumn food exhibition in Russia, the major place for meetings and sharing best practices among Russian and foreign food market leaders, has been opened today September 20 at Crocus Expo.

More than 700 companies will take part in the exhibition including more than 260 companies which will present their products at WorldFood Moscow for the first time. This year the trade show attracted producers from 24 countries and 54 Russian regions.

WorldFood Moscow is a major exhibition serving the global food and drinks industry. Since its inception in 1991, it has grown to become the entry point for international manufacturers looking to enter the vibrant Russian market. Every year, the event connects thousands of businesses from around the world with Russia's key food and drink buyers, including retail representatives from Russia’s leading supermarket chains, wholesalers, HoReCa sector members, and food manufacturers. WorldFood Moscow is the best Food & Drink exhibition in Russia in the “International Recognition” nomination based on the results of the Russian National Exhibition Rating 2016–2017. This year, the focus of the exhibition will be shifted to Russian manufacturers and import substitution.

Thematic sectors of the exhibition cover all product categories, which allows buyers to form a comprehensive product matrix that meets the most current consumer demand in just 4 days. Traditionally, WorldFood Moscow participants present their products in 15 sectors:  Alcoholic drinks, Canned food, Confectionery and bakery, Dairy and cheeses, Fish and seafood, Frozen, convenience and ready-to-eat food, Fruit and vegetables, Grocery, Halal, Health an organic food, Meat, poultry and eggs, Non-alcoholic drinks, Non-Food, Oils, fats and sauces, Tea and coffee. This year, the Ingredients sector will be presented for the first time.

Responding to the needs of the industry, the exhibition team in partnership with RetailTech organized an IT alley. Within this special zone, software and IT solution providers will present their innovative developments for retailers to improve business efficiency.

As part of the special exposition «Business for Everyone», young manufacturers and individual entrepreneurs will present their products to the market.

In partnership with the Organic Foundation a collective stand of organic producers will be presented at the exhibition for the first time.

As part of the WorldFood Moscow 2022 business program, more than 25 events will be held in two streams. The first of them, the Food Industry Leaders Forum, will be dedicated to the exchange of experience and solutions to urgent problems that retail faced, as well as presentations of actual statistics and market trends with the participation of leading representatives of the industry.
