AGROS 2023 for visitors
The International trade fair of technologies for animal production & feed cultivation АGROS 2023 will be held at Crocus Expo January25 through 27, 2023. Full range of technologies from forage to animal production and processing will be presented to specialists both in animal and in field and meadow fodder production. The event is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and industry associations.
The thematic sections of AGROS cover all types of professional livestock breeding, such as dairy and beef cattle breeding, pig breeding, poultry farming, goat breeding, sheep breeding and others at all stages of the value chain.
Leading global and Russian manufacturers of solutions for keeping, feeding and caring for animals, milking and cooling equipment, feed and veterinary solutions, as well as modern genetics will be presented at AGROS-2022. Exhibitors will present at the exhibition machinery and equipment for the production and preparation of feed, the removal and use of animal waste, as well as the seed material of forage crops.
352 manufacturers and suppliers from 26 countries presented state-of-the-art solutions in the fields of genetics, equipment and technologies for animal husbandry and poultry feeding, feed, feed additives, veterinary medicine products, as well as technology and means of production for feed farming to 11,317 registered trade visitors from 82 regions of Russia and neighboring countries on the exhibit space comprising 17 000 sq m at the fair in 2022.
A total of 328 speakers, a record number, took part in 51 events of the business program. Fully occupied conference rooms are proof of the relevance and high value of the chosen technical topics. More than 3 000 visitors attended the events of the program. The first Federal Farmers' Forum at AGROS - a series of events for Russian small farmers, celebrated its successful premiere on the last day of the fair.
In 2022, for the first time, the exhibition featured extensive business content - more than 20 hours - for representatives of professional poultry and pig breeding within the frames of the Veterinary Products and Feed Solutions sections.
For the first time, AGROS hosted the All-Russian Congress of Agricultural Cooperatives on the topic: Agricultural cooperation is the basis for sustainable development of the agricultural industry! Annual and general meetings at the AGROS exhibition site were held by the National Union of Beef Producers (NSPG), RNO Agrocontrol, and the NGO Association of Holstein Cattle Producers.
At the recent meeting of the event organizers with Head of the Eurasian Aquaculture Alliance, during the negotiations, it was decided to develop the aquaculture section through a number of activities. Thus, the Alliance will act as a partner of the exhibition in organizing a collective stand "Digital Aquaculture Ecosystem". In addition, the Alliance will be directly involved in organizing the events of the business program.
Speakers from business, science and practice will report during a specialized industry conference on January 26, 2023 "Production of aquatic organisms in the fight against the global threat of a food crisis". On January 27, within the framework of the Federal Forum of Farmers, a workshop "School of the Aqua Farmer" will be held with the issue of certificates of completion of a short course of one of the industry's universities. The target audience of the events are investors who would like to get involved in the development of a new direction of management, and farmers who want to diversify and learn new things.
More than 130 companies have already confirmed their participation in AGROS 2023! The focus of AGROS 2023 business program and the exhibition in general will be on challenges and new opportunities in the agro-industrial complex in the context of the emerging new realities.
