HeliRussia has been opened at Crocus Expo
The 15th International Helicopter Industry HeliRussia, the unique exhibition in Russia representing international developments in helicopter industry, that is the entire range of products & services within, from design & production to operation, has been opened today May 19 at Crocus Expo. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is the organizer of HeliRussia. The event has been initiated and supported by the Association of Helicopter Industry.
The key event is the plenary session Strategy of Aviation Industry Development in Modern Realities. The participants of the session discuss topical issues in order to determine the place of the helicopter industry in the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 with a forecast until 2035.
Issues to be discussed:

The current state of the helicopter fleet and the extent of its renewal.

The amount of funding for the final service and the market value of the flight hour.
- Implementation of import substitution programs for components, systems and units.

Necessary measures to improve transport accessibility for the population in hard-to-reach and remote regions, including the Arctic, Siberia and the Far East.
- Issues of standardization of the helicopter industry and the use of digital bases for monitoring the state of aircraft in Russia.
Among the participants are the heads of regions, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic of the Russian Federation, the Russian Helicopters holding, the Helicopter Industry Association, the largest operators and leading experts.
