MosBuild 2022 became the largest building and interiors trade show in Europe over the past two years
The 27th International trade show of building and interiors materials MosBuild 2022, the largest building and interiors trade show in terms of number of visitors and exhibitors in Russia and Eastern Europe, was held March 29 through April 1, 2022 at Crocus Expo.
MosBuild 2022 became a business platform for manufacturers of building materials, as well as heads of wholesale and retail companies. The exhibitors could present new products, establish relationships with architectural organizations and distribution companies.
In 2022, 800 companies fr om 20 countries took part in the exhibition. The entire range of products from building materials to furniture and decorative items were presented in 15 sectors.14 Russian regions were represented with stands: the Astrakhan region, the Vladimir region, the Volgograd region, the Kaliningrad region, Krasnodar territory, Krasnoyarsk territory, the Leningrad region, the Lipetsk region, the Moscow region, the Omsk region, Primorsky territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Sverdlovsk region, and the Tver region. The number of unique visitors amounted at 56,622.
After a two-year break caused by the pandemic, more than 150 companies from China, as well as large representative offices of India and Turkey, participated in the exhibition. The exhibitors demonstrated not only bestsellers and the most demanded products in their lines but also novelties, innovations, environmentally friendly products and recent developments.

The business program included 4 zones wh ere designers, architects, manufacturers, suppliers, and DIY network specialists could find answers to trending questions. 139 experts delivered their speeches to 4,532 unique visitors.

On 29 March, the X Anniversary DIY Forum took place. More than 20 speakers and over 300 delegates discussed the most pressing issues of the industry.
- The speakers at the Architectural Lecture Hall talked about the crisis of modernist, competition between high-rise and block construction, and many other topics

From 29 March to 1 April, a series of events took place at the Master Class Zone, including the plenary session “ESG in Russia — Ways of Development”, the meeting for the participants of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
- At the Decorium Special Project a series of events took place.
MosBuild Architecture & Design Awards (MADA)
On 30 March, the award ceremony of the MosBuild Architecture & Design Awards (MADA) took place. The best projects were chosen by online voting. The members of the jury noted the high level of the presented works and thanked the participants for their new ideas.
In 2023 MosBuild will be held March 28 through 31.
