International exhibition AGROS 2022 is reaching a new level
DLG's АGROS, the international trade fair for animal husbandry, breeding and fodder production in Russia, will be held January 25 through 27, 2022 for livestock professionals at Crocus Expo. The trade fair attracts manufacturers and suppliers from Russia and other countries, offering solutions to visiting industry professionals. A comprehensive range of technology, equipment, products and services for modern cattle, pig, poultry, goat and rabbit production, aquaculture, including forage production and feed preparation, await the professional visitors.
AGROS profile
A wide coverage of livestock breeding areas from feed cultivation, genetics and feed stuff, animal health and husbandry, to technologies for decentral energy supply to agricultural enterprises. There are several main sections of the exposition. Animal production: breeding animals, breeding material; feed and feed ingredients; animal health and hygiene; veterinary drugs, tools, equipment; technology and equipment for animal husbandry; technology and equipment for animal feeding; milking and cooling equipment; air-conditioning. energy saving and environmental technology; equipment for the removal, storage, processing and use of livestock waste and more. Decentral energy: production and use of biogas / liquid and solid biofuels; renewable energy for decentralized energy supply; recycling and disposal; ventilation, wastewater and exhaust systems; energy security, distribution and storage systems and more. Feed cultivation: field forage crop seeds; inputs for forage crops cultivation; trailed, mounted and self-propelled forage harvesting machinery and equipment; machinery, equipment and means for forage processing, conditioning and storage; other means of mechanization.
Visitors
Over 8,000 industry professionals from 77 regions of Russia, 12 countries of the near and more than 30 countries of foreign countries benefited from the opportunity to find ways and methods at AGROS to solve business problems in all areas of animal husbandry in May 2021. Over 98% of visitors are industry professionals. 97% were satisfied with the visit to the exhibition.
Exhibitors
Due to the active growth of booking of exhibition spaces by long-term partners and also entry of new exhibitors (including producers and suppliers of the equipment for forage production, forages, feed additives and products of veterinary science) the AGROS 2022 exhibition expands the sections and will be accommodated in two exhibition halls. To date more than 150 companies have already confirmed their participation
German country pavilion
The German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) have confirmed organization of the German country pavilion, in which German manufacturers will present their "Made in Germany" solutions for animal and feed production.
Business program
At this year's AGROS, the focus of the business program will be animal health, a topic identified by DLG RUS as one of interest to the professional visitors. Numerous presentations explore production factors involving animal health, including feed production, genetics, housing conditions, feeding, hygiene, veterinary medicine and biological safety, waste disposal, management, processing, logistics and marketing. New and highly attended business events are dedicated to such topics like decentral energy supply, agrotourism and organic aquaculture and organic beekeeping. A total of 52 events in suitable interactive formats covered a range of relevant topics from contributors consisting of some 250 leading Russian and international experts. A selection of events from the Business Program is also offered online with viewers being able to connect via the internet.
The AGROS fair is organized with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the National Associations of Milk Producers, Poultry Breeders, Pig Breeders, Beef Producers, Cattle Breeders, the National Bio-Union, the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
