Woodex 2021 began its work
The 17th International exhibition of equipment and technologies for woodworking and furniture production Woodex 2021 has been opened today at Crocus Expo. The exhibition will run November 30 through December 3, 2021. Woodex is Russia's leading international industry event, where well-known manufacturers and suppliers from across the world present their latest equipment and technologies for woodworking, furniture production and wood waste utilization.
Woodex is your fast-track gateway to the lucrative Russian market. More than 9,000 professionals from the wood industry and furniture manufacturing in Russia and the CIS attend Woodex. Over 350 companies from 27 countries choose Woodex to showcase their equipment and materials. This year, more than 230 Russian and foreign companies will take part in the exhibition, which will present equipment and services for woodworking, furniture production, wood waste processing, paint and varnish materials, wood protection compositions, as well as related equipment and components. Over 25 companies will exhibit their products and services at the exhibition for the first time. The overall exposition will comprise more than 18,000 square meters.
130 foreign companies from 17 countries of the world will take part in Woodex 2021: Germany, Italy, Spain, Finland, Latvia, Belarus, Turkey, Sweden, Estonia, Denmark and other countries.

Exposition will feature 6 sections: Equipment, instrument and materials for furniture production: cutting machines, edge banding, CNC processing centres, boring machines, surface technology, collating, assembling and packaging product systems, engineering and automation, software, tools and equipment for preparation of tools, aspiration systems etc; Woodworking equipment, materials and tools: surface planing machines, milling machines, log sorting lines, edging machines, processing small timber lines, cross cutters, sawmill, equipment for doors and windows production, wooden houses construction, flooring equipment, finger jointing equipment, tools and equipment for preparation of tools, aspiration systems etc; Logging machines: skidding and cable logging equipment, cranes and other forest equipment, portable chain saws and auxiliary equipment, drag carts / skidding trailers, skidding cables, skidding choker, safety belts and accessories, skidding winches, skidding tongs, truck loading cranes and log grabs, vehicles for timber transport etc; Equipment for wood wastes utilization: equipment for the production of briquettes, pellets, chips, equipment for energy generation using wood fuels etc; Paints and coatings, adhesives, sealants, wood protection: paints, coatings, lacquers, adhesives, sealants and wood protection etc; Auxiliary equipment: independent computer software, independent engineering and consulting services for the wood industries, automation systems, vacuum equipment, components for industrial equipment, packaging equipment and stacking lines etc.
Traditionally, an extensive exposition of companies from Finland will be presented at the Woodex exhibition. 2021 will be no exception: Arvelin International Oy will organize the Finnish pavilion at the exhibition. As part of the national exposition, the products of 9 leading Finnish companies in the field of woodworking equipment production will be presented. Back in the spring, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy confirmed that 30 companies will present their equipment at the exhibition at the national pavilion.
