NDT Russia 2021 first results
On October 26 and 27, Crocus Expo hosted the 21st International exhibition NDT Russia - the largest non-destructive testing event in Russia and neighboring countries.
The exhibition has become a long-awaited platform for offline communication, exchange of experience in overcoming the difficulties of the pandemic, and, of course, for negotiations and contracts. Despite the current restrictions on business trips in a number of companies, the exhibition gathered a representative composition of participants and visitors.
NDT Russia was a platform for test drives. Only at the exhibition one had an opportunity to test and select devices and equipment for non-destructive testing; get expert advice at the stands of participating companies and solve their production tasks; hold personal meetings with the top officials of the leading companies in the industry; and take part in the events of a rich business program.
The leading companies in the industry exhibited their products and services at NDT Russia - these are regular loyal participants and new companies that are interested in expanding the geography of sales and finding new customers.
This year, the participants presented samples of equipment for such types of control as optical; X-ray; radiation; ultrasonic; visual; acoustic-emission; thermal; eddy current; capillary; magnetic powder; electric; coating quality control; insulation and cathodic protection control; control of penetrating substances; leak control; gas analysis; digital and computer radiography, as well as metallographic, measuring equipment, optical microscopes, metal alloy analyzers, geodetic equipment, remote laser detectors, sensor equipment.
The exhibition participants had the opportunity to offer their products to a wide audience of specialists interested in purchasing equipment for non-destructive testing. The NDT Russia exhibition was visited by specialists of enterprises from most regions of Russia, representing enterprises of such industries as metalworking, mechanical engineering, aircraft and shipbuilding, chemical and petrochemical, nuclear, defense, space industry, electric power, as well as construction, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and others.
Russian Laboratory and NDT Russia Organizing Committee held a large scale conference on non-destructive testing at industrial enterprises within the frames of the business program. The conference program covered various issues related to intelligent control and diagnostics systems for industrial and security enterprises, healthcare facilities, security thermal imaging systems; thickness gauges and flaw detectors for metal structures, plastics and composites, manual EMA control in the aerospace industry; tomographs and flaw detectors for concrete control; X-ray devices, ultrasonic transducers for flaw detection and other equipment for non-destructive testing by various methods.
The results of the All-Russian contest The Best Specialist of Non-Destructive Testing were declared at the awarding ceremony October 27.
The first feedback received from the exhibitors confirms that the effectiveness of participation has exceeded all their expectations. Even in such difficult conditions, exhibitions continue to bring significant benefits to business, helping to start new and develop existing business relationships.
