The XXII All-Russia scientific-educational forum Mother and Child – 2021 began its work at Crocus Expo

The XXII All-Russia scientific-educational forum Mother and Child – 2021, the largest national event in the segment of obstetrics, gynecology, diagnostics, neonatology and related branches, has begun its work today September 29, 2021 at Crocus Expo.

The organizers of the event are Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation; FSBI National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I.Kulakov Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation; Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; League of Midwifes of Russia and Congress-operator MEDI Expo OOO.

Key research areas planned for consideration at the forum: Health Modernization: the main directions of work to reduce maternal and infant morbidity and mortality; Continuing professional medical education: a time of change; Demographics and women's reproductive health; New possibilities of diagnostics and treatment in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology based on advances in molecular and cell biology; Emergency conditions in obstetrics; Infection in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology; Miscarriage and premature birth; Pre-eclampsia as a major multidisciplinary problem; Discussion and unresolved issues in neonatology and pediatrics: infections, nutrition, diagnosis of major diseases; Neonatal Surgery; Prenatal consultation and other topics.
