bauma CTT RUSSIA 2021, the main event in the world of construction machinery and technologies, began its work at Crocus Expo
The 21st edition of bauma CTT RUSSIA, one of the most important and largest construction equipment and technologies trade fair in Russia and the only event from bauma cluster to be held in the world in 2021, has been opened today May 25, 2021 at Crocus Expo. The event will be held May 25 through 28, 2021 in Pavilion 3 (halls 13, 14 and 15) and in Crocus Expo open grounds.
More than 340 exhibitors from 16 countries (Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, Finland, and France) will take part in bauma CTT RUSSIA 2021, including 74 international exhibitors, who will present themselves in Moscow despite difficult travel conditions. Germany, Finland and Turkey will be represented with international pavilions. The exhibitor list includes well-known companies such as Bauer Maschinen, Bondioli&Pavesi, Daimler KAMAZ, Doosan Infracore, Elkon, Kudesnik, MB Crusher, MEKA, Putzmeister, TOP WERK, XCMG, Zeppelin, and Zoomlion.
On each of the four trade show days, the calendar of events at bauma CTT FORUM will be dedicated to a different market segment of the construction machinery industry, namely:
- May 25 - Road Construction,
- May 26 - Mining,
- May 27 - Lifting Equipment,
- May 28 - Construction Vehicles
bauma CTT FORUM and CONFAB will become main platforms at the trade fair.
The bauma CTT Forum, which was designed for the first time as an open conference platform at the heart of the trade fair action, will be held again within the frames of the exhibition. The Forum will become the stage for presentations, including Mining Day, which placed a special focus on sustainable “clean” technologies for environmental protection. The bauma CTT Forum also provides an outlook on the development of the Russian construction machinery market. The need for suitable devices and equipment is high since the aim is to invest a lot into the infrastructure development, including road construction, by the end of 2024. The Forum therefore also deals with the rental and leasing of construction machinery.
CONFAB – open platform for holding exhibitors’ events: presentations, press conferences and master classes.
This year the organizers place special focus on the Mining industry. The conference Future of Mining—for which the Russian Academy of Mining Sciences could be won over—will mainly deal with the digital transformation of mining companies. On its agenda: developments in the global mining industry, illustrated by current examples from the sector and combined with field reports (Finch and Cullinanin South Africa mines).Representatives of well-known manufacturers such as Liebherr and Komatsu will highlight “Automated and robotic complexes of mining equipment for mining enterprises.

Conference Trenchless Technologies for the City will be held within the frames of the trade fair. The exposition bauma CTT Trenchless covering the topic will be accommodated in hall 14 of Pavilion 3.
Gala ceremony for the winners of the Construction Equipment Innovations in Russia award, a highlight of bauma CTT RUSSIA, will be presented on the second day of the fair. The award has been presented since 2019 and honors technical innovation in ten categories. The 2021 nominees include manufacturers BOMAG, CATERPILLAR, Impulse, JCB, John Deere, JSC, Liebherr, MAN, NFLG, SDLG, SEM, Tradicia-K, TTM, UMG, Volvo, and ZZBO.
