Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS) has been postponed to indefinite dates

Today the COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost every country in the world, and we see how many governments and citizens of the world are decisively fighting this global scourge. The Government of the Russian Federation under the situation has banned holding of mass public events and closed the borders which created a challenge for the preparation to the coming exhibition season.
Thus it was decided to postpone the dates of the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS) to indefinite dates. The motor show had been scheduled to August 26 through September 6, 2020 in Crocus Expo.
Pyotr Tutarashvili, Director of the Moscow International Automobile Salon project, says that unfortunately, today the situation does not allow to prepare an event of this type and scale within the established time frames. The decision on the new terms will be made taking into account the analysis of all factors: epidemiological safety, the economic situation on the automobile market, as well as the financial situation of participants and visitors.
