27th  MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL OPTICAL FAIR (MIOF)

The 27th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF), a one of the most awaited leading branch events which twice a year incorporates on the same platform specialists from the sphere of medical optics and ophthalmology, will be accommodated in Crocus Expo September 8 through 10, 2020. The organizer of the project is Crocus Expo, expo venue which ranks at the top among exhibition centers of Russia and Eastern Europe.

Today MIOF is the largest national business and educational platform, the meeting place for distributors of global brands with representatives of wholesale and retail trade. Due to a large number of professionals among visitors the participation in the trade fair opens direct access to new clients: specialists exchange experience and strengthen business contacts, foreign companies find reliable partners for their work in Russia on a long term basis. More than 1 000 visitors have already got free e-ticket to the project this year.

EXPOSITION

The exposition covers all segments of the optical industry: eyeglasses fashion (frames and sunglasses), eyeglass and contact lenses, care means for medical optics, various related accessories, diagnostic equipment, software for salons of optics, trade equipment for opticians, specialized optical editions and many other things.

The largest well known companies of the Russian optical industry including newcomers will become the exhibitors of the autumn edition. Anabelle Fashion Hub, Key Optical Russia, Oliver Wood, Panfundus, Stax, Stormoff, Balero-MS, Barbus KB, Bitwin, Burma, VESTA OPTICA, Vision Trade, Optic Market +, Zvezda Vostoka, Kalita, Krym Optical Group, Maksema Optics, Optika Euro, Opticdesign, Ricardi, SBMA and others are among participants of the September edition of the exhibition.

New collections of frames, sunglasses and lenses for various age categories and style directions will be presented at Balero-MS and Kalita stands. Opticdesign will display their own collections of frames and capabilities for the production of frames in Russia under a customer's brand.

New diagnostic and technological equipment for optician’s and workshops can be seen and tested at Stormoff, Panfundus, Maksema-Optics, Krym Optical Group stands. Barbus KB, a loyal participant of the trade fair, will present to visitors trading equipment for optical salons. The main direction of the company are design projects of turnkey trade interior solutions.

This year's debutants will be SBM, the exclusive representative in Russia of American children's sunglasses-masks; Anabelle Fashion Hub, a supplier of Italian glasses brands, including sunglasses and accessories; Key Optical Russia, which for the first time will present the collection of the licensed Cosmopolitan brand.

BUSINESS PROGRAM

Today MIOF is a serious business and educational platform, the meeting place for distributors of global brands with representatives of wholesale and retail trade. The business program of the fair will form again an integral part of the MIOF exposition. The program features Business and Educational Forum incorporating a number of events of different formats and the 4th scientific and practical conference on children's ophthalmology and optometry Kids Vision.

September 8 - Inessa Lebbeh, strategic consultant on communicative practices and emotional branding in medicine, author of books on medical communication, will make a report Increase in Optics Sales through Social Networks: content features and promotion accents.

Another interesting event of the first day will be the seminar of the ITigris product manager Nikolai Nikolaev on the topic: Prospects: how automation helps to survive the market crisis.

September 9 - specialists will have an opportunity to come to know about the results of clinical studies on the influence of Myopilux lenses on the control of progressive myopia (speakers: Rano Ibragimova, MD, ophthalmologist, medical consultant of Essilor Academy, Alexander Koltsov, ophthalmologist, director of Nikon Academy educational programs).

The interim results of the Kids Vision charity action Glasses for Children with Genetic Diseases will be announced during the 27th Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF). The action will be held till November 30, 2020 inclusive.

The action has been initiated and organized by Crocus Expo, Management Office of the trade fair and Market Assistant Group, Director General E.N. Yakutina. The program of the conference offers a number of various events including seminars, training courses, presentations and lectures.

There is free admittance for representatives of the optical industry to the exhibition and events of the business program after online registration at the MIOF official website.
