FESTIVAL OF HUNTERS, FISHERMEN AND TOURISTS

The Festival of Hunters, Fishermen and Tourists trade fair will be for the first time held with participation of the Moscow Off-road Show November 1 through 4, 2019 in Crocus Expo. The organizer of the project is Crocus Expo – the largest expo venue of Russia and Eastern Europe.

Mission of the new project is popularization of active and healthy lifestyles; uniting on the same site fans and professionals in hunting, fishing, tourism and active outing; promotion and distribution of products; exchange of experience and search of new business contacts.

On the eve of the new winter season, the project will be held in an updated format, which will be not only supplemented by new thematic sections: special transport for fishing, hunting and tourism, snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, but will be also enhanced by the best, most interesting samples of AWD vehicles from the Moscow Off-road Show exposition: UAZ, GAZ, Jeep, Toyota and etc.

The trade fair will become an effective communication platform allowing to obtain comprehensive information about novelties of the hunting and fishing market, travelling requisites and touristy items, to conduct effective negotiations with wholesale and retail markets representatives and to search new partners offering the most profitable terms and conditions among Russian and foreign exhibitors. The project provides the perfect opportunity to establish business contacts with future suppliers, to hold a number of direct talks in a short period of time, to obtain commodity market information on available goods and services including modern digital equipment, professional gear and outfit for fishing and hunting tours.

Exposition and participants

The exhibitors display a wide range of products and services related to hunting, fishing and outdoor clothing, equipment and accessories, hiking and backpacking, camping, sporting camps, fly and sport fishing, fishing products, bait and tackle, taxidermy, knives and cutlery, cookware, tours and charters, lodges and resorts.

The exposition space will comprise 4 000 sq m and will host about 100 companies from Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Lipetsk and Rostov regions and other regions of the country.

There will be hundreds of booths lining the aisles containing the latest products for both fishing and hunting enthusiasts: the newest equipment from some of the top manufacturers and reps, retail vendors, public service exhibits, thematic literature, souvenirs and the gifts of nature, fishing boats and all kinds of outdoor products – the best choice that the outdoor world has to offer all bundled together in one fairground. 

Program

The official partner of the Festival of Hunters, Fishermen and Tourists 2019 development and an active participant of its business program is Okun Trade House. The calendar of events prepared for the attendees of the trade fair will be held in a manner that should prove as engaging as it is informative: master classes on theory and practice of fishing, peculiarities and life hacks of various types of baits application, practice of effective fish playing, ways of water; practical trainings on survival in the conditions of wild nature for beginners; consultations on organization of fishing and preparation for safari tours for experienced professionals.

The a non-profit organization for the promotion of water sports and organization of sports competitions World Ocean Games will announce at the Festival a new global project – World Ocean Games – international large scale competitions, which unite all types of water and coastal sports, using advanced digital technologies in organization, holding, coverage and broadcasting. The first Games are planned to be held in 2020.

As part of the entertainment component, the guests of the show will have an opportunity to take pictures against the background of blue marlin, the largest fish that was caught by a Russian on spinning in the ocean from a motor boat, in a special photo zone for unforgettable pictures. Besides other interesting projects will be presented: Ocean fishing (including fishing battle with the record holder of Russia on catching blue marlin Alexander Trukhachev) and World of the hook or Fishes of the World (three day team competition consisting of thematic quest and team fishing).
