The 5th International specialized exhibition
IMPORT SUBSTITUTION

The 5th International specialized exhibition Import Substitution will be held according to the regulation of the Government of the Russian Federation (No.719-r dated 21.04.2018), September 10 through 12, 2019 in Crocus Expo. It is a project of the own Crocus Expo’s exhibitions program, which is supported by the Russian Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, other federal offices of executive power and other state institutions.

MISSION OF THE EVENT

The main goal of the exhibition is rendering comprehensive assistance to domestic manufacturers in development and sales of goods and services, their promotion in the internal and world markets, search of business partners, establishment of new sales channels. The Import Substitution project demonstrates the development of the capacity of domestic enterprises and organizations, the results of their activities in various industries of economy and international promotion.

EXHIBITORS

This year the exposition will comprise 6 000 sq m. More than 130 companies from more than 30 regions of the country: Moscow and the Moscow Region; St. Petersburg; Kaluga, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Oryol, Penza, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tver and Tula regions; Stavropol Territory; Republics of Kabardino-Balkaria, Tatarstan and Chuvashia will display their products and services at the exposition.

Large corporate stand of the Rostec State Corporation will comprise the central location and will become one of the exposition highlights. Kalashnikov state corporation, the largest Russian producer of military automatic and sniper weapon, will display it’s products – fowling pieces, sporting rifles, machines and tools – at the stand. The company will present electric cycle IZH PULSAR, electric vehicle UV-4, complex of video surveillance cameras, biometric scanner, the system of real-time recognition and classification of detected objects based on Artificial Intelligence Visual Identification (AIVI), VIRSAR SR pacemaker and much more.

The assembly and testing facility of ship marine gas turbine units (GTU) named after F. Ushakov will be presented at the stand of the United Engine Corporation (ODK). This unique development was designed upon instruction of the President of the Russian Federation in order to create a Russian base of ship gas turbine construction implemented within the framework of the import substitution program.

Russian Export Center (REC) will presents own collective stand with participation of a number of export oriented companies for promotion of hi-tech and innovative products and services in domestic market. REC has initiated and organized a contest in a number of nominations within the frames of the national project International Cooperation and Export implementation.

An extensive exposition Import Substitution in Chemical Industry will be presented at the 2019 exhibition. Research Institute of Technology of Organic, Inorganic Chemistry and Biotechnologies (NIITONH&BT) OOO, METACLEY AO, Avgust Air Conditioners Enterprise, Tula RTI Enterprise, POLYPLASTIC NPP and others have already confirmed their participation in the project.

CALENADAR OF EVENTS

The Import Substitution project is a full-fledged discussion platform for dialogue between representatives of state authorities with entrepreneurs.

During the business program of the forum the representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, heads of regions, state corporations and organizations will share their experience on achieving concrete results in the field of import substitution. Attendees will discuss issues of regional industrial policy and the development of import substitution in individual regions, the support of the authorities’ policy of import substitution, scientific achievements and developments, contributing to the development of production within the frames of plenary sessions and round tables.

Project Leader, multiformat national platform

A new launch of the Import Substitution exhibition, the All-Russian Award in the Field of Import Substitution Project Leader, will be for the first time held September 10 and 11, 2019. It is the unique for today award in Russia which is completely devoted to a principal theme of this year and the next years: to national projects and business community’s participation in them aimed at import substitution, localization and export.

National forum Russian Production in the Focus of National Projects is a debatable platform for the analysis of import substitution policy and assessment of competitiveness of the power and business within implementation of the President’s decree On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of the Russian Federation through to 2024  (No.204, dated 05.05.2018).

The second day of a forum will include a series of strategic sessions to discuss the issue related to import substitution program management in the prospects of specific national projects, rational accountability of funds on their execution, timely control of their realization, new or successfully implemented by business investment programs. The off-budget investments in national projects, issues related to improvement of work and automation of production, mechanisms of Russian companies’ entry to international markets, methods of monetization of scientific developments, new approaches to creation of public spaces, ecological sustainability and corporate transformations and other issues will become the leading topics of discussion platforms at the forum.

Exhibition and forum Import Substitution in IT – Digital Sovereignty

A separate exhibition and forum Import Substitution in IT — Digital Sovereignty will be for the first time held within the frames of the Import Substitution exhibition in 2019. It is one of the key strategic challenges of the state. Crocus Expo, National Soft ARPP with the support of the Competence Center on Import Substitution in the Sphere of Information and Communication Technologies (TsKIKT) act as organizers of the project.

According to May Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation (2018) and the challenges set by the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation national program, mainly national software should be used in al spheres of public and local administration by 2024. The exposition will demonstrate products and complete solutions from Russian IT companies, producers of digital equipment and software developers which are already used or planned to introduction in various organizations. Topical issues of the industry’s support, development stages of the national market, implementation of the Digital Economy national program and other, no less important tasks, will be discussed at the forum.

Representatives of federal and regional authorities, producers of domestic software and hardware, representatives of state corporations, institutes of development, companies with government share, scientific community will participate in the Import Substitution in IT – Digital Sovereignty, exhibition and forum.

Chemical industry – one of key topics of the business program

An exposition of the Russian Chemical Complex will be arranged and a number of business events will be held within the frames of the exhibition in 2019 by the Chimvest scientific and technical centre (Federal State Unitary Enterprise Chimvest NTTs) with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Russia.

The Import Substitution project contributes to the development and strengthening of cross-industry communications of entities and decrease in dependence of the Russian economy on imported goods and services. The project is designed to promote development gains, production and marketing of domestic products.
