International exhibition and forum of the best available technologies
The International exhibition and forum of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo will be held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation November 6-9, 2018 in Crocus Expo. The organizer of the event is Crocus Expo, one of the top expo venues in Russia and Eastern Europe.
Development of green technologies and their introduction into industrial sector became fundamentals of many developed states policy. In Russia, with adoption in 2014 of legislative measures determining creation of the modern industry waste treatment and transition of various industries of the economy to the principles of the best available technologies (BAT), it is anticipated an essential increase in demand for corresponding methods, equipment, works and engineering services. For the purpose of assistance to the Russian business in issues related to modernization of the economy and accomplishment of adopted standards it was decided to hold the exhibition and forum of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo 2018.
The project is designed to become an effective communication platform for representatives of the government, business community and scientific organizations, an arena for presentation of foreign and Russian environmental solutions and innovations for economy.
The top officials of the country, heads of federal and regional authorities and municipalities, representatives of business community, institutes of development and investment funds, scientific and public organizations and educational institutions will take part in the work of the international exhibition and forum.
The exposition will be segmented into three sections: Green Regions of Russia, Green Technoparks and Green City of Future. Thematic location of companies shows that such segmentation assists visitors to easier orientate themselves at the exhibition and the exhibitors get a better effect of their participation in the exhibition.
Goals and missions of the project: presentation of the best practices from different countries on development of green technologies; contribution to the development of the BAT national market and environmental production; creation of business space for active dialogue of the State and Business, and demonstration of the best practices and achievements on ensuring industrial and environmental safety of the country; definition of investment mechanisms and expansion of investment cooperation for introduction of BAT and green economy development; revelation and promotion of innovative technological startups; formation of the image of Russia as technologically competitive and environmentally focused country.
The business program of the exhibition and forum represents a discussion platform for open dialogue in the State – Business – Science format. It is a meeting place of developers, producers, suppliers, top managers of leading companies, investment funds, representatives of small and medium business, heads of municipal and regional authorities. The relevance of the event holding is confirmed by its support from state bodies and professional audience.
The International exhibition and forum of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo 2018 is held under support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
